Affordable Family Fun
The rooms were clean and economical. Not plush. There were tons of kids but they were pretty much out of away after 9p.m. Would stay with my family and children in the future. Perhaps not the best choice for a girlfriend getaway.

Great Stay
We had a great time! The hotel staff is very friendly and the location is great, we never had to travel more than a few blocks for whatever we needed. There was live music throughout the day by a very good cover band that lasted through the night. This hotel is very kid friendly.

Decent Hotel - Uncomfortable Bed
Having booked a 3 star hotel, I was expecting a bit more in terms of comfort and overall experience. The room was decent however upon arriving it looked as if the bed sheets had not been changed due to a stain in the sheets. The king size bed was not comfortable and the hotel seemed a little run down. The location was great and my room was oceanfront with a great view.

Middle of the Road.....
This hotel was OK if you're looking for a beachfront hotel and a place to rest your head at the end of the day. Bathroom had a fan that sounded like a prop plane starting up. Pool was good for the kids and it seemed that people liked the entertainment at night. Didn't like the fact that there wasn't a restaurant that served meals throughout the day and barbeque fare was only available later in the week. The fitness room is very small so if this is important to you, I'd select another location. I wouldn't venture off the property at night without the comfort of a vehicle because it's not in the greatest location. Saw police on several occasions and they were working not patrolling. I come to Myrtle Beach every year and this wasn't one of my favorite hotels. I actually prfer to stay in North Myrtle Beach. I don't have anything negative to say about the staff though; they were all very pleasant.

Good family hotel
Liked the room and view. Pools were great and they had a great kids pool area. Breakfast cost $22 for two for a less than average buffet and coffee was an additional charge. We went during off season so it may have influenced the lack of lunch service. Also, there were no signs to show where the ammenities were located in the hotel. A little frustrating. I would definitely go back with kids but would probably not stay there as a couple again.

Relaxing Atmosphere
The hotel was great! I have nothing bad to say about it. There are many hotels in Myrtle Beach and I'm very happy I chose the Coral Beach Resort. There were cheaper places to stay but after arriving, I saw these places. They were old and run down. We had an ocean view room on the 6th floor which was absolutely perfect. Myrtle Beach is very much a tourist attraction with lots of stores and shops and lot's of people badgering you to check out there hotel. If you are looking for a hotel on Myrtle Beach, stay here!

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
Go to Broadway on the Beach. This place was a blast! There were several bars and nightclubs. I highly reccomend the dueling piano bar right across from the Hard Rock Cafe and Senor Frogs. It is very interactive and a lot of fun.

just ok
We booked 2 ocean front rooms [...], on arrival the hotel had placed us on the ground floorwith palmetto trees blocking both rooms view of theocean. The hotel did change both rooms, however wehad adjoining rooms originally and ended up with roomsthat were seperate when they made the change. Recommendother travelers always request rooms above the 3rd floor for a view of the ocean.
