Overall pleased
Overall I was pleased with my stay, the resort had plentiful swimming pools and hot tubs. Resturants and outside Tiki Hut bar were good places for small lunches and drinks/nightcaps.

Merrill's Inlet was a very nice place to go for dinning and live music. Less hussle and commercialized dinning that makes for a better quantity experience.

A great place to stay
I had a great time at this hotel. The pools were great and there was even an outdoor covered fro all weather swimming. The hotel was right on the beach and the beach was fantastic! The room was great. It was actually a kitchenette with a fridge, stove and microwave. The staff was friendlly and helpful.

Wonderful last minute vacation
We had a wonderful time staying here. It was the perfect last minute vacation to end our summer. The pools and lazy rivers were amazing and the view from out hotel was wonderful. Great stay!

Girls weekend getaway
Everything was exactly as I had reserved-an oceanfront suite. The staff was wonderful. Everyone from the front desk staff at check in to the waiter at bar to the housekeeping person. Great location on the beach! Even had lifeguards on duty after Labor Day. Great shopping close by. Lazy rivers were so much fun. We went for rest and relaxation and got it. They have garages for parking and I always found a space, but usually on the other side of the road. That garage had no elevator. But I do have to say it was secure. Your key card had to be used to access it.

Fantastic Spot!
Great room, excellent value, choice indoor amenities and pools. Great place for kids. Rooms were clean, very nice.

girls weekend getaway
great place to go for a quick getaway or longer. convenient airport shuttle to and from hotel. staff very accomodating. food was good, especially the breakfast at Compass Rose. our room was clean, spacious, and the view awesome. beach only steps away. lots to do if you have kids....indoor and outdoor pools, lazy river, waterpipe slides, shuffleboard. pet friendly. would go there again

good room, hidden fees
I got a GREAT rate here ($49 in Nov.), but when I arrived, I was told that they would need an ADDITIONAL $50 deposit on a credit card prior to check in, and that it would be released upon check out. At checkout, the manager said it would "take several days or up to a week" to be credited to my card. Still waiting. I've stayed in better hotels in the Myrtle Beach area, but this wasn't bad. They have too many fees to suit me, but the room was clean. I didn't use the kitchen, but it is fully functional with an oven and dishwasher.

Great Pool Area

General hotel
Was somewhat disappointed. I found the hotel typical of every other hotel along the beach. I was led to belive it would be an ocean view. It was, after looking past all of the other hotels in front of the view. (Sea Side) Not Ocean Front.
