Horrible
We booked a 2 day stay at Caravelle Resort. Upon arrival at the resort, we found that we needed to check in at Myrtle Grand Vacations 30 minutes back the way we had came. Once there, we were notified of an $85 cleaning fee (on top of the $109 a nite we had paid). When we got back to the resort, we were sent to a different location (Caravelle Towers). The room was HORRIBLE!!! Dirty, dated, bed was not made, pillows were old and useless, no toilet paper in bathroom and the list goes on. Since it was a weekend, there were no other rooms available so were stayed - this time. We will never go back here and suggest anyone else think twice before booking at this "resort". BTW, I NEVER write reviews - this "hotel" was just so bad I felt others needed to be warned!

Unhappy Traveler 111
Never Again
The room we booked was not even ready when we got to the beach with our three kids. never notified me ahead of time and just wanted to put us in another room that wasnt even close to the beach. I will never use again ever, buyer beware !!!

A little disapointed
Well first of all the hotel I booked my reservation for was a completly different hotel than what i stayed at. It was owned by the Caravelle but clearly not on the same caliber. For the money i paid the room was dated & was not as close to the main beach as i thought. I would only book at the Caravelle again if my room would actually be in the Caravelle building.

Short walk from hotel
Alot of the hotels located within the main part of the beach are close to several restuarants & entertainment so staying in the middle allows u to park & walk everywhere.

The room wasn't what we expected however the bed was so soft and comfortable. I am not sure if I would return to this hotel, but if I did hopefully I would be able to stay in one of the other towers where the majority of the amenties are located.
