Tear it Down
This place is terrible.It is dirty, nasty, out of date with not the smallest of comforts. Such as no seating around the pool....no housekeeping(we did not even have clean sheets from the start, ........the room had not been cleaned before check -in and was not touched at all during our stay. We had to clean the bathroom and floors ourselves. For a mini kitchen, there was no supplies at all, not even paper towels. The coffee maker was too dirty to use.The bath towels/cloths are so old and worn out they were like paper.The furniture is from the 60's and is mostly broken and parts missing.The whole place looks like a scene from a teen horror movie and in fact it is a hang -out for local teens. The place needs to be torn down. The only thing it has going for it , is the staff and the location. The staff is wonderful and friendly, but do not have a clue on running a motel. The location on the beach front is OK, but with the Pavilion gone that area is no longer the best place in Myrtle Beach to be.The whole area has gone down, but this place is the worse in the lot.I repeat this place needs to be torn down. Ruined Myrtle Beach for me and I grew up going there every summer. No more.

There are a few attractions left to walk to that only appeals to teenagers mostly.They are all Ripley's.
