Good last minute option
We were looking for a last minute option to spend our vacations and Best Western Carolanian fit perfectly. Their rooms are comfortable enought and clean. They take good care of this place, even if Myrtle Beach hotels and restaurants are stuck on the 70s-80s...

Be ready to bring all your need to stay at the beach. Rental prices are too much for what they offer. Umbrellas, folding chairs, etc.

Myrtle vacation
Everything was exceptionally good except there were a few maintenance activities happening. Staff was available within short notice. But there was 1-2 maintenance issues every day of stay which was annoying. AC/Heater settings was not proper, either it went too cold or too hot...some issues with thermostat, I guess

Couples Getaway
This was a nice hotel for the most part. Loved the balcony view from our room, but our room itself was somewhat simple. The staff was ok, but nothing that blew me away. Location not as good as I thought, because it was not really within walking distance of the boardwalk. And parking was not good, had to park on a different street and walk a couple blocks to get to the hotel. Check in time was 4 pm, latest check in time i've ever had. The pools were nice and it was on the ocean though, so not a horrible place to stay.

Short drive from hotel
Check out Medieval times and Pirates Voyage, both well worth the money to go there. Great fun and good food :)

Gave us the worst room in the hotel
Our room was on the first floor in a public hallway next to a public restroom (DISGUSTING) across the hall was the laundry room so at all hours there were huge carts rolling across tile floor in front of our room. We had to have the AC and the bathroom fan on to sleep to TRY to keep the noise down. We were promised an ocean front balcony...There was lounge chairs pushed right up next to our balcony and the pool was a were 10 feet away. We constantly had to have our curtains closed so the ocean front room was not even worth the extra upgrade. I am totally disappointed and frustrated. what an awful trip right before my husband left for military training..

Very good..value for money
Excellent locality and amneties, very clean and nice ambience it was perfect vacation place for our family. Kids enjoyed... Swimming pool could have been a bit bigger, there are 2 pools (1 out door) , 1 lazy river and 1 jacquzie. pool water needs frequent replacement/treatment for the crowd. Suits needed frequent maintenance on AC and washer/dryer. Staff were available anytime and very courteous. But my expectation was that these should have been fixed bunder periodic maintenance before we occupied the place.

It was a short but sweet trip!
The night Manager was so accommodating when we had a issue with the toilet running & a noisey hallway. He changed our room for us, and we could not been happer!

Our room was older but clean. Beds were made up nicely on the first day but very sloppy on the second day. Beds were queen size and comfortable. We had plenty of clean towels and the little kitchen with coffee pot microwave and small fridge were very convenient. We did have an emergency and the staff was especially attentive and heplful. Also very curtious and professional. The only other issue was there were bugs in the pool and we felt should have been vacuumed. We opted not to use the pool due to the bugs floating in them.

Great Locationand great value with a ocean view
We had a great time, The staff was friendly and helpful with with coupons for the buffet across the street and any questions we had, we were right off the ocean yet we also had a nice private layout by the pool side to catch the sun. the only problem we ran into was one of the nights we got missed by the maids and had no clean towels

Family run away
It was a great week and the weather nice. the hotel staff did a great job. Clean and over looking the water the best. Will book again next year.
