Oceanside condo vacations near the Second Avenue Pier in Myrtle Beach

Not as great as the picture paints

*The super late check in time, orignally set for 3pm didnt end up being until an hour or so later. Hard to plan around that time especially when there is limited parking around hotel and nothing to do inside unless your already checked in. *Elevators for the entire resort were not functioning, making trying to get around the hotel nearly impossible. Everyone was forced to take the stairs the entire weekend. *There is nothing to do in this hotel, no restaurants or lounges at all. The pool is small and overcrowded so sitting and relaxing is not an option.

Nearest dining is not very close, and parking is off site so you have to walk to the parking garage in order to leave anywhere.

Family getaway

The rooms are wonderful and spacious. Great location. The pool could be a lot bigger, but the ocean is right there, so that's not really a big problem. The elevators take FOREVER!!!!!! We eventually had to take the stairs.

While vacationing at Bay View I mainly stayed in the water areas hot tub beach and mostly walked the beach This trip was a little better because we stayed longer for a good deal. Got to learn how to cross over to the South side for a change. But didnt like because some cars got broken into and plus they make you walk to park your vehicle

Good Value

The room was very large and a good price for Ocean Front. My only complaint is the elavator wait. The elevators were always very crowded and were very slow.

vacation

the hotel and room were great.the elevators were very slow and often skipped floors. we were in a single room condo with a oceanfront view. the views were awesome.

beware of grocery shopping, its very expensive. eating out was very expensive also. especially if you go to a buffet!

Great place

We stayed in an ocean front one bedroom condo and loved it. The condo was spacious, clean and comfortable. It could use a few more dishes in the kitchen, so if you are planning on doing some real cooking you need to bring some.

Great Place To Stay!!!!!!

The Bay View Resort was a great place to stay for me and two other guests. We reserved a two bedroom oceanfront apartment and it was awsome!!! It looked like a real apartment! Full sized kitchen and bedrooms had their own bathroom!! It was just perfect and the price was just too great!! In fact, we are returning to myrtle beach just for the hotel, the outlets, and Original Benjamin's restaurant. P.S. We even had a washer and dryer in our apartment, just too good too be true!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice place to vacation
