My buddy and I decided to stay here even though we knew it was "low budget' because we figured we wouldn't spend much time in the room. This was the worst choice ever! We pre-paid them $170 for two nights. After we returned from the beach the
first day we were there, we found our car towed. The nasty lady at the front desk, informed us that she called and had the car towed b/c she didn't see theh ticket in the front window. The ticket was there and they had our license plate number too. They wanted us to pay $160 (almost as much as we paid for the entire stay) to get the car out of the tow lot. When we said we didn't want to stay there the second night, they refused to refund any of our prepayment and said they were keeping our money if we stayed there or not.
I wouldn't recommend staying here! This place was a dump. The rooms were gross and when we woke up in the morning we had little bites all over us...the bed had bedbugs! Overall, it was the worst experience ever. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want them to scheme you out of money!
We stayed here for Memorial Day week, and even besides the bikers which weren't too bad, it was perfect location for the heart of Myrtle Beach, close to everything. It is right next to the brand new skywheel, It had air conditioning in the glass
chair lift, it was awesome! Jimmy Buffet's Landshark Bar at the bottom too. There was the Boardwalk which had alot of fun cool things to do, live bands, fireworks, and they had a carnival for the kids. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, had WiFi( Thankfully cause i posted pics all week), It wasn't oceanview, but gratefully cause we needed to be able to afford other things we wanted to do. They had a pool for each building i noticed, which were nice not too crowded. It was walking distance to alot of attractions, i noticed there were parking meters around, i was glad i could park right next to my room. Only a block from the beach, and reasonably priced, staff was nice, and when we go back this summer, I'm definitley going to stay here.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
If your traveling on 501 to center or north myrtle beach, take Hwy 22 to the beach by "Aynor". It'll drop you of at Tanger outlets at 17 by Briarcliff acres. Especially if its a Fri night or Sat morning, and Sunday evening huge shortcut. Depends on where your going. google it.
