Nice Beachfront Stay
Anderson Ocean Club was a overall a positive experience for us. The hotel was nicely decorated and staff very accomodating. We had a small glitch when we arrived to our room, in that there was a trash can overlooked in our kitchenette, but it was quickly remedied. This is a very family-friendly hotel and children took advantage of the pools, lazy river and hot tub. I was disappointed that there wasn't a restaurant or bar on site, but discovered some nice choices within walking distance. We had a studio efficiency room, and it was perfect for my husband and I. The kitchenette was perfect with full refrigerator, dishwasher, sink and stove. I was pleasantly surprised to have a washer and dryer in the room also. The bathroom was very nicely decorated and roomy. Loved the nice toiletries, also. All and all, a good value.

Short walk from hotel
Captain's Seafood Restaurant is a short walk down the street from the hotel. Great seafood, screened-in patio bar with access to a backyard where restless children can stretch their legs while you wait to be seated. Friendly staff.

My review of Anderson Ocean Club
This hotel was as beautiful. New, exquisite hotel with professional courteous staff. I have already started planning my next trip there. I enjoyed my trip even though I was with my three teenaged children!!! That says alot about the hotel.

Short drive from hotel
Liberty Steakhouse at Broadway at the Beach (straighht down 21st Avenue) brews its own beer. Try the Mango Tango.

Awesome!!!
This was my first visit to Myrtle Beach and the Hotel, Anderson Ocean Club and I could not have made a better choice. I hope the hotel can maintain its luxury and professionalism throughout the years. I don't want to think the beauty of the whole experience was due to the hotel being less than a year old. Wonderful experience! You will always be my first choice for SC!!!

Staff is very service oriented and atmosphere is upscale.
I truly enjoyed the Anderson Ocean Club and would recommend it to anyone looking for a Myrtle Beach escape. The only negative I noticed is lack of a nicer restaurant in the hotel or within walking distance. The buffet just doesn't cut it for this type of experience. I will definitely be back with right weekend getaway deals.
