3 Palms Oceanfront Myrtle Beach

Hotel was in excellent location near all attractions....parking garage was great for our motorcycle...lots of security...unfortunately we did not get to use the pool or hot tub because of our busy schedule, but it looked very clean and maintained...loved the easy access right to the beach out the back gate...the beds were very comfortable, very clean and nice bathroom and kitchenette.....the carpeting could have been vacuumed, (still some stuff on floor from recent occupants)....but overall stay was great would def recommend and stay again....the price was good...the only downfall...was no continental breakfast or even bagels or beverages...for the price would have liked to have seen that....

Enjoyed stay. Nice comfortable bed! Had stove and refrigerator as well. Tv was a little outdated! Need flat screens. Parking was cramped but they had additional parking across the street. The only bad thing was that we had wonderful view of the parking garage next door.

Great room good location nice staff great place overall

The hotels was in great condition. The only negative experience throughout the trip was the cold weather. However, the hotel staff was prompt and swift. The front desk was helpful with suiting my needs as needed. The only thing I would suggest is to request an oceanfront room. The side view is merely a view of the hotel next door.

Love the Jacuzzi-HotTub (Better get towels from front desk though)

I was impressed with the updated room. Modern and clean. Almost like staying in a celebrity's house for the weekend! Granite countertops new everything. Giant, comfortable king bed with a great view (king studio). Staff was helpful and friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the parking for guests. The lot was across the street and it rained during my stay. Other than that I loved this hotel so much I wont book a room at any other plan than 3palms. We're going back! :) Oh, and it was on 7th avenue south close to all the fun stuff in Myrtle Beach.

It was a nice hotel, I have already recommended it to a friend, and i would definitley stay there again.

Stayed one night, great room beautiful and clean but the front entrance is a hill and no turn around and parking is way across the street. Stayed on a Sat the 16th and the snow came and the front walk was a a sheet of ice.

I was nervous booking this hotel room, but was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was great!! The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel itself is sandwiched in between two other hotels very closely, but it has beachfront access and swimming pools. The hotel was very quiet(we were there in the off-season) and a wonderful place to relax and unwind after a very long drive. I would definitely stay here again!!

i chose this hotel because they had a great deal posted and it was directly on the beach boasted about new remodeling having 2 pools a lazy river as well as a hot tub, it was very close to a lot of attractions, had free parking and WiFi, the employees were nice , although it seemed you only got the cleaning ladies in the room if you gave them a large tip, you had to sign out towels, which Ive never had to do before, one thing that was a total bummer was that the restaurant in the hotel was closed but Fridays and Saturdays and we were hoping because that's what it said in the hotels amenities that they had room service, that we were going to be able to get room service, but we stayed Sunday night to Saturday afternoon. they also told us that we were going to have an ocean view suite, which they failed to tell us that it use to be an ocean view suite until someone bought the property next door and started building a taller hotel, now there's no side ocean view... the price for this time of year was fantastic and the water was warm and refreshing...

Not easy to load or unload, extremely close to hotels an a new one being built on left of it, stayed on rt. Side ocean view so the parking deck was all could see an it amplified the sound of everything motorcycles all day an nt. Made it extremely loud. Did order from the restaurant an pizza was horrible over cooked. Room was small yet a nice huge bed was comfortable

For being right on the beach this hotel was wonderful to stay at and decently priced. Some of the staff could have been nicer. The room was awesome and clean. I would definitely go there again.

Awesome hotel.Great value and location. It's our place of choice every year on our anniversary. Everythings in walking distance from beach access, resturants, sight seeing and more!

Spent one week in this resort, and I must say, I will never be staying there again. This place stinks, and I am not speaking metaphorically, this place had a horrible smell. This original selling point was it being newly remodeled and I was told the renovations were completed. WHAT A JOKE! My girlfriend and I had no privilege of sleeping in, as annoying hammers and saws woke us up at 6AM PROMPTLY. In summery, the place smells bad, the elevators are extremely dirty, they are SUPER STINGY with linens, the pools are small, the hot tub was filthy, they allow people to be noisy well past midnight, there are practically no amenities to speak of, and THE ONLY NICE THING I HAVE TO SPEAK OF are the wonderfully nice ladies of housekeeping, THEY ARE FANTASTIC! However, this may be, they do not make up for this lack of WOW that we thought we were getting.

Booked the special rate on the internet. Staff at checkin unfriendly and room had a view to a wall under construction, so balcony was useless. For the amount I could have found something better easily. Sure won't come back.

My husband and I spent the weekend there, we really enjoyed the location, right on the beach. My only problem with the hotel was that the walls were very thin we could hear whole conversations and see light from the other room.

I had a fantastic stay at 3 palms. The room was clean, staff was friendly, and the hotel was located right on the beach! My boyfriend and I flew to Myrtle beach, we ended up getting an early flight. When arriving the person at the front desk explained that when our room was ready she would call my cell. They ended up letting us check in over two hours early without any problems! Would definitley stay there again!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. The overall experience was average. The room itself was a little cramped, but we did have a side view of the ocean. My biggest complaint is parking. The parking lot is located across the street and the lot is divided so that by Friday we had quite a walk to get back to the hotel (which I wouldn't feel comfortable doing alone at night). One other complaint is that the cleaning staff would stop by our room multiple times to check that our room had been cleaned, even after they had me initial that our room had been cleaned the first time. Other than those issues, the overall experience reflected the price we paid.

We only stayed one night but the staff was awesome. The cleaning crew checked to make sure the room was prefect. For the price I think we got a great deal. We were a step from the beach.

It was good experience while I stayed at 3 Palms. The location of the hotel was great plus the room was very clean. Everything attraction I wanted to see was within walking distance. Also the staff was very friendly. I would stay again.

We did not have a good experience at the beginning with our hotel. We had to change 3 times due to the odor in the room. Finally in the last room we were switched to it was a whole lot better. Would not stay on the 4th floor or the hotel anymore.

This was a great place to stay for the price. The only downfall is the parking. It was very inconvenient.

The location of the hotel is not the greatest and some parts of the hotel weren't that great either. The pool area did not look clean, the rooms were very small and the garage had sewers that smelled terrible. I don't think there was one time that I went into the hallways that it didn't smell bad. The lobby/lounging area was probably the best part of the hotel. It had contemporary furniture and was recently renewed.

Not that much time was spent at the hotel but it was a fine place to rest up and shower. The full sized refrigerator and kitchenette were nice to find in this price range. Decent pizza from the downstairs bar too.

Ddi not have on site parking which made it very inconvenient. The location was good for children becasue it was with in walking distance to the carnival,,otherwise the room where rather small, and nothing special. Pools were barely average,,but better than nothing and for a 3 year old they do not know the difference. Would probably not stay there again, unless there was nothing else available or I was broke..

Parking across the street really wasn't that bad. I always had a place to park. The lobby was nice...was able to check in early for a $28 fee, which I didn't mind either. The first time I felt that I wasn't going to get what I expected was when I stepped onto the elevator. It was just old and dirty and SLOW as heck! We stayed on the 4th floor and took the stairs most of the time becuase the elevators were so painfully slow. The room was very small, no flat screen TVs, the view from the balcony was another building under construction. We had a great time otherwise, but will not want to stay there again. It was not worth the money. The pool area was especially small but access to the beach was great.

the description of our room was sideview (no oceanview), well we lucked out with being sideview with an ocean view from the top floor.

Our only serious issue was that our sleeper sofa had no room to fold out and it was broken, had to be replaced with another. Outlets are in weird places too. Other than that; service was good, food was fantastic in the lobby. Busy area, everything's nearby and plenty to do.

Parking was a problem, not close enoughf to the hotel, it was a hassle trying to find a parking spot. The staff at the front desk was not the most friendly people I ever met.

The room needs to be updated. The Carpet was ripped, the towels were stained and the bedding was old and dated. The pool had a ring around the outside - it needs to be scrubbed and cleaned. We were also forced into sitting for a 60 minute high pressure sales pitch about a vacation club. We said no 6 times before they let us leave! We will not be returning!

The room was small but well decorated. It was hard for two people to move around in. Although it was a side room with a balacony the construction beside it totally blocked all view including the sky. Two out of three nights the parking lots were full and I had difficulty finding parking late at night. It wasn't worth the money.

Quiet, clean and good location. Nice family hotel. Close parking. Would stay there again. Only problem was not enough elevators.

I didn't really enjoy my stay The price I paid wasn't worth it and I wouldn't go back and I was very disappointed.

Great location... right on the water. We walked everywhere for food and nightlife. Staff was rude and was not willing to help. You can not check in before 4!

The staff was helpful. The room was comfortable. A poolside bar would have been great. The pool, lazy river and hot tub was dirty.

Nothing overall bad about this hotel. Was as expected for the price. The lazy river was a joke. The location was right in the middle of the beach and the access to the beach was great. The room was small and needed some repairs but was still nice. Parking was across the street but that wasn't a huge inconvenience.

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway and I thought this was a good price. I was wrong! The building is under construction, there is no bar, no lounge, no place to get something to eat or anything. They put us in a room that looked out upon another building that was supposed to be completed in 2010. It was an eyesore and we had to look out and over our balcony to see the ocean. In order to get to the beach, you have to walk through the parking garage on the bottom of the building, it was kind of creepy. The bed, while comfortable, was way too big for the room. You had to sit on it to eat or just be in the room, as sitting on the tiny love seat, you couldn't see the TV or anything else. The room was dark and blah. While driving there we noticed many other hotels that looked nicer and advertised a lower price for ocean view. We were very disappointed in this place, even though it was a great location. Not to mention it was cold and rainy, so we spent way more time inside than we anticipated and this was not the room for that!! I don't recommend staying here, find another hotel. There are plenty of them out there.
