Three story interior corridor hotel located off US 17. Complimentary continental breakfast, free local phone calls, cable w/HBO, coffeemakers, iron and ironing boards and USA Today. Close to many restaurants. 3 miles to downtown, MUSC and Citadel. 1 mile to USS Yorktown, Patriots Point and Golf. 4 miles to Marina and Boone Hall Plantation. Free wireless high-speed Internet access in all rooms. Pet accommodation: 25.00 per night per pet.

Quick Weekend Getaway

We had a great weekend in Charleston. The Sleep Inn is in a good location. So many attractions are a quick drive away. It is far enough off the main road, so it was a very quiet location. The only issue that I had was the bathroom did not have a tub. I thought if you had a young child that could not get in the shower, that might be a downer! Overall, we had a good experience and would stay there again.

Sleep Inn stay

Everything was good except for the guests on the 2nd floor kept slamming their doors. Maybe only letting them shut on their own but happened frequently and all thru the night.

Everything was great except.....

We really enjoyed the stay. The room was nice the location was great and the front desk staff was very friendly. The only issue we had was the lady that was working the breakfast room. It was very busy and there were some extremely obnoxious children but she as not even trying to give service with a smile and she was taking her time refilling the different breakfast items making for a miserable breakfast.

Nice and clean hotel.

It is nicely located close to downtown as well as the beaches. It was a perfect spot for work and the Medical university. The waffles on the complimentary breakfast buffet were the best.

Good Experience

The Sleep Inn on Wingo Way in Mt. Pleasant, SC was very clean, comfortable and conveniently located to the beach, several fine restuarants, and historic sights. My room was equipped with a microwave, refridgerator, and wi-fi. The staff was very courteous and accomodating. The only problem was all the highway construction, but the hotel had no control over that. I will definitely stay there again.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Fort Sumter National Monument tours start at Patriot Park just a couple of miles from the hotel. The USS Yorktown WWII aircraft carrier is there also. Downtown Charleston Historic district is just a 1/2 drive.
