Convenient location to explore Charleston.

I found the stay to be good. The room was clean, the receptionist very helpful with directions to dining locations, and the breakfast selections were plentiful. I cannot think of a better place as a jumping off point to explore Charleston. The only drawback was that they had only one business center computer for the guests. There needs to be more and that computer needs to be upgraded/faster. When I am there to use their computer the last thing I want to do is IT work. One other thing - traffic on Johnnie Dodds Blvd is unbelievable. From Charleston, stay as far left as you can, or you will have a hard time getting into this place.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

If visiting downtown Charleston, get to the visitors center area early, like 8:30AM. It is a great starting place. Wait, and parking will be a nightmare.

Highly Recommend

Room, staff and everything was amazing. Location is perfect for price, and 3 miles away from downtown, shem creek and but a 10 mile drive to IOP.

Mt. Pleasant Holiday Inn

This is a relatively new property. Very clean and new looking. Great location for downtown Charleston, Mt Pleasant and Daniel Island.

If you like French combined with Low Country food, the Rue de Jean is the place to go.Great food and service.
