Outstanding hotel
This hotel was outstanding in every way. My daughter got married this past weekend and the hotel personnel couldn't have been better. The staff was excellent, courteous, and friendly. The rooms and lobby were very clean and neatly kept. The free breakfast was super, as well. This hotel and its staff couldn't have been any better. Kudos to you all.

There are many excellent restaurants in the nearby vicinity. Downtown Charleston was close and the directions to get there were easy to follow.

Road Trip Trio
Great Place
We were perfectly located between the beach at Isle of Palms and Downtown Charleston. The roads to and from were easily accessible and there was shopping nearby that was convenient and easy to find. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and we couldn't beat the room for the price..clean, good sized, comfortable, good breakfast, enjoyed everything. We even had some car trouble and had help right down the street.

Public beach (Isle of Palms) parking does not charge before 8 am or after 6 pm if you're an early walker or late nighter. It was only $1 per hour, so it wasn't expensive during the day. Convenient public restrooms and outdoor shower.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience and the location of the hotel room was perfect. I estimate that we were maybe 5-10 minutes from downtown Charleston and to the beach. The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was very nice, clean and the bed was very comfortable. We could not ask for a better hotel.

Excellent service, very clean.
The bedding was exceptional. They had "soft" and "hard" pillows, marked! Hotel very clean with friendly staff. Good coffee with breakfast was a treat.

Very nice, clean, and new
My companion is very picky and she was really impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. But it is only a few months old, so one would expect it to be clean. I hope they keep it this way. It was convenient to both downtown Charleston and the "Islands". Although it was right by the main artery and we had a room on that side, it was still quiet. The young lady taking care of the breakfast was kind of overwhelmed and could have used some help. I would definitely stay there again.

Make sure you park somewhere downtown that doesn't have meters or a time limit. We had to hurry and get back and put more coins in the meter.

Surprisingly Pleasing
This Holiday Inn Express went above and beyond my expectations. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the decor was very pleasing. The fridge was bigger than the average hotel fridge which worked out well for us. The beds were ammmazing. And the staff - Can't say enough about the staff! We were in town for my sister's wedding and had plans to make it a very special weekend for them. The front desk receptionist, [...], was particularly helpful in our planning. He assisted us with upgrading their room and allowing us to get in to decorate it for the day of the wedding. He was in on all of our plans - thanks to him, all of our planned surprises went swimmingly. The whole staff was very friendly, they treated us like we were guests in their home. It was overall an excellent stay. I would absolutely stay there again.

Joseph's Restaurant in the downtown area was recommended to us by a receptionist at the hotel. The food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. We went for bkfst but they are also open for lunch. Menu consists of the regular but they do have a few fun local favorites such as Crab Omelettes and Sweet Potato Pancakes. $50 total for the 4 of us! Can't beat that!

wonderful vacation
We had a weekend trip to Charleston just for fun. The hotel was very close to the Hwy taking us to downtown. No hassle of traffic or looking for parking spots. Convenient to other beaches Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms. We had a suite(it was the same price as the king or double on [...]) First floor, robes, large room, sitting area, good breakfast clean clean clean.
