One of the top hotels in Mount Pleasant, convenient to many attractions
The recently-renovated Holiday Inn Charleston - Mount Pleasant hotel is one of the top hotels in Mount Pleasant. Would never use your website again! Or stay in this hotel!
Wanted to cancel1 day of my 7 day trip and it was impossible to do so-- I was charged for a night I didn't use. The hallway on floor 4 reeked on cigarettes mixed with air freshener-- never a pleasing combination. There were crumbs on the far side floor in my room that were never vacuumed up during my stay. Couldn't open the windows!! I hate that!

Enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed this hotel as its location was central to our activities at Patriots Point.The pool was nice,and the hotel staff nice.The room was clean and updated.

Would not recommend staying here
The pool was very dirty with poor towels to use. The room was not very clean at all. We had to ask for clean sheets to be put on the bed. We tried to give our grandson a bath and the bath mat was coming up and the adhesive was floating in the water. We checked out early and went to a different hotel. I dint think we will stay at another Holiday Inn due to our terrible experience.

Our trip
Hotel was in a great location. Rooms were average looking...somewhat small though. It was nearly impossible to use the ironing board due to space issues. Bathroom had a musty smell which made it feel unclean.

Comfy, Modern & Convenient
I was in Mt. Pleasant for a professional workshop related to my work, and was staying 5 nights, which is unusual for me. I really scoured the internet looking for the right place within a certain price range and with as many upscale amenities as I could find. This Holliday Inn was PERFECT, and I truly loved my stay. I've stayed in some really nice boutique hotels in my time, and for the money and location, this hotel didn't disappoint. The bed was very comfortable (I had one King), and the styling and room size was very nice, generous, modern and updated. It was very easy to cruise into Charleston, traveling over the new bridge was scenic. The hotel is very close to restaurants, shopping, a Whole Foods, movie theaters, etc etc. I highly recommend this hotel. I was very very comfortable there the whole 5 nights I stayed. Oh - and the staff was wonderful, friendly, too.

Perfect for Din. Cruise @ Patriots Pt.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary with nearby tours at Patriots Point only 5 mins away (The USS Yorktown and The Spiritline Dinner / Harbor Cruise.) Next day, back accross the bridge in downtown historic Charleston in only 10 mins. Lunch @ Bubba Gumps and touring the Old Market. This lovely Holiday Inn is located right at the foot of the Ravenel Bridge with Patriots Pt. at one end and historic Charleston at the other. A wonderful experience, upscale, clean, peaceful, and private. Thanks to Orbitz and Holiday Inn!
