Would go back

I stayed here with my mom and young daughter one night for a trip to Charleston to pick up my car (being shipped back from an overseas tour in Germany). The hotel was perfect for the rate, and I would stay here again, even for leisure travel. Across the bridge from Charleston, but still looked like a neat area to explore. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great Location, Great Hotel

The hotel is in an amazing location. Far enough from the hustle of downtown, but close enough to ride a bike to it! The cooper bridge in the background and Yorktowne in your backyard. What else do you need?

Great Charleston stay

The hotel was very convenient to all the historic sites we were interested in seeing, yet away from the crowded areas. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the breakfast was more than we expected. We will definitely use this hotel on our next visit.

Read and pay attention to all the materials available. We missed the restaurant recommendations in our room.

Nothing very special

We asked for a king non-smoking, and got two double beds instead. Not terrible, but disappointing. I also missed the "pet friendly" designation - which I usually avoid. So, breakfast was shared in the lobby with a few yappy small dogs - cute to their owners, but a nuisance to others when trying to get food and talk. The towels were not replenished, but, fortunately, we had just enough to make do the next day. The location is ideal, however, so that made up for alot. Overall, not a great choice or value.

Good hotel well located but hidden

The hotel was one of the best 'budget' hotels we have used. There was only one issue and that was that the hotel location was not visible from the highway so we spent 45 minutes looking for it in the middle of the night. Get good directions. That said the place was very nice and, when found, in a great location to explore both Charleston, Patriots Point, and Mt. Pleasant.

The Price is Right

Overall experience was OK however the breakfeast buffet needs to be reorganized. Room with food was way too small. People kept running into one another because of its layout. One morning they could not keep up with the refills and people's patience was running short.

Conveniently Located. Great rooms!

Very easy to find anything in Charleston from this hotel. It is SO EASY to get on and off the bridge from here that it feels like you are practically downtown. Breakfast was great. There were two large groups staying in our hotel and the noise was not an issue at all. Love the renovated rooms

When you stay in Charleston you dont have to eat downtown. Head to the Old Post House or Shem Creek (both located in Mount Pleasant area). Some of the best food in Charleston isnt in Charleston.

Bad Christmas stay

It was very cold and rainy with snow in the forcast and the heater didn't get hot at all. not even luke warm. Stained floor and busted light bulb over night stand. It was a late arrival and early departure and no time to complain to front desk. I thought the heater would have gotten warm.
