Beautiful views

The views were beautiful, the rooms were very clean and pretty. Staff were polite. Restaurant and bar on property with decent food and good service. Trolley car for trips into town. We would go back. Expensive but worth a short stay.

Good for relaxation

[...] The location was a happy medium between the beach and downtown Charleston. The only real drawback is there is no fitness center but they do give you a free pass to another fitness center (that is very nice) that is about a 5-10 minute drive. Overall great experience.

Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina

On the whole the hotel was a good experience. However, there were two parties on the hotel beach property with live bands Friday and Saturday nights. The music was quite loud and did not end until 9:30 and 10:30PM respectively. The windows had some white build up on them making it difficult to enjoy the beautiful water views. Good location. Nice nautical theme decor through out the hotel.

Charleston Hospitality

Our trip was very enjoyable. We asked for a quiet room away from elevators and ice machines and that's exactly what we got. Everyone at the hotel was courteous and helpful. We took advantage of the hotel trolley that takes you back and forth from the hotel to Charleston. Nice pool and outside bar. Breakfast could have been better but was acceptable. Recommend this resort for people who do not want to be right downtown but close enough to access easily by ferry or car.The USS Yorktown air craft carrier is right next door. Great piece of history.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Don't miss Hyman's restaurant if you want great seafood and their famous hush puppies. If it's good enough for all the celebrities that have eaten there over the years, it's good enough for us!
