Absolutely lovely hotel
The hotel is very nice and we would definitely recommend it. We especially liked the convenience of the trolley that brought us over to Charleston in about 10 minutes. But we wish the water taxi had been running as well, because the bridge to Charleston was closed on our last day and we couldn't make our restaurant reservation. The view from our room was picture perfect and the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating . We also loved the fire pits at night!

Great stay
On arrival the shower did not work properly. No cold water. Took two calls to hotel maintenance to resolve the problem. On two different days our room keys stopped working requiring trip back to the main desk to lave new keys made. Other than the two problems we had a good stay. Beautiful harbor view and great location

Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina
We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was great, helpful and upgraded us to a room with a balcony and view of Charleston's new bridge and the battleship Yorktown. Breakfast was expensive and not great so just go somewhere else for it. Everything else there was just wonderful and incredible for the price. It was a grand stopping off point and I will look for your specials from now on when I'm on the road. Thanks, sandy adair

Great Waterside Accomodations
We had an oustanding experience. The room was great especially with the balcony. We could relax and enjoy the boats and ships cruising by. The room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions on the Charleston area. The water trolley wasn't running but the regular trolley was which was helpful. The location was to us the real selling point...close to Charleston, next to the USS Yorktown and Fort Sumter ferry and most of all, again, next to the water with 2 docks. We are planning a return trip soon.

A pleasant stay in a resort setting
I lived in Charelston for 14 years and attended many functions at the resort but had never stayed there. I enjoyed the attentive staff and beautiful rooms with oil paintings, intricate draperies and a confortable bed. The pumpkin muffins left during turndown service were yummy. Regular shuttles to various attractions and to the Cooper River Bridge for those choosing to walk or ride a bike on the stunning span.

Great getway
The place is very nice and quiet. The staff is very courteous and professional. The rooms are small but comfortable but they are starting to show little signs of aging. For the price and location you won't find a better place.
