The Wild Dunes Resort occupies 1,600 acres of private oceanfront property. The resort encompasses two hotels with two golf courses and 17 Har-Tru tennis courts. Meeting and banquet facilities accommodate up to 300 people and guests have free use of the resort's business center. The Sand & Sea Salon offers relaxing and rejuvenating spa services. The Wild Dunes Resort boasts a family recreation program (fees may apply) and the swim center offering four pools provides family fun, too. The resort features six dining options serving a variety of cuisines.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVED IT!
I came with my boyfriend for a night and we had a fantastic time! Our room was unbelievable, HUGE and I couldn't believe what a great price we got. We thought it was beautiful there and we can't wait to go back!

Great Weekend
When we arrived, we were given a villa with NO ocean view. The staff was kind enough to accommodate us so that we had the perfect view.

wild dunes
We very much liked the Boardwalk Hotel, we loved the pool and the ocean setting. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would for sure go back again. The only problem we had was that we rode our motorcycles down to Wild Dunes only to find out at the gate that they do not allow motorcycles inside the gates. We were allowed to park in a small lot just outside and only a 10 minute walk or a shuttle ride from the hotel.

Wild Dunes Village
The Village apartments are owner operated rentals so what you get is therefore a lottery. The apartment we were allocated had an over powering smell of dampness, so strong that we could not use the drawers in the bedroom furniture for fear of making our clothes smell. The on site restaurants serve average food at high prices. The other on-site recreational facilities are also high-price. If you are planning to stay here make sure you bring your own beach umbrellas and chairs, bikes etc. Also plan to buy your food of-site as the so called market store stock little of any use.

very nice place
The location is very close to beach. our room was upgraded to a corner bigger room with only king size bed. the room is very clean and the bathroom is roomy compare with other hotel I had stayed before. The only complain are the sofa bed mattress has a big yellow stain on it. and the mattress on the king size bed is too soft to sleep more than 1 people at same time. Hotel charges extra fee other than the price we already paid here which is unexpected. Also the hotel has no washer for their customers. I like there overall and will stay here next trip to Charleston.

Unforgettable day and night
Great location, and beautiful rooms. However, our room overlooked the pools with screaming kids, so not the kind of "get away" moment. But, then we just walked to the beach for some peace and quiet. Very nice stay.

Villa is no home
This is a perfect location if you want to spend time at the beach and travel to Charleston several times. The specific accommodation we had in the Villa had uncomfortable beds (thought it would be King size) and TVs in bedrooms were dated with poor reception.

Outstanding Trip
We attended a wedding.It was held on the resort grounds, great location. The reception held at the resort as well, great location as well. The van in which they transported the guest to the reception was very dirty.
