I'll go again!
The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was right on the beach. I was disappointed to find there was no bathtub or in room safe. The internet connection was weak. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were only a few parking spaces under the inn, but in October, the parking on the street was free. The refrigerator was a good size for leftovers or other foods I wanted to keep cold. I gave the inn three stars because it was basic. I hope to make this trip again next Fall and will check on room availability at the Seaside Inn when I make my plans.

Loudest Vent fan in the World
The bathroom vent fan in Room 209 at Seaside Inn was the loudest I have ever heard! Sounded like a jet taking off. Bad thing was you have to turn it on when you turn on the light so if you get up in the night you are sure to wake anyone else int he room! No other light that could be left on as nightlight. Also no space in bathroom to put personal items, no counters! Very small room and only had one queen size bed. Only good thing was hotel was on the beach!

It's an older Beach Hotel
This hotel is older and a little beat up. But, it is a beach hotel, and it's right on the beach. There are several bars and restaurants close by so the location is excellent. One caveat: On the south side is a VFW Club that plays loud music during day and night. Don't stay on that side. The breakfast is pretty much good for coffee only.

A Quick Getaway
I was in town early for a group vacation and decided to have some nice alone time near the beach for one night. The rate I got for my one night was amazing, and I was literally 20 feet from the beach. The view from my room was gorgeous. The only problem I had was the dampness in the room, but you can't really complain because you're right next to the ocean, i.e. a giant mass of water. The front desk was very helpful in questions about sightseeing in the area and parking was ample and close so I didn't have to worry about leaving my rental car somewhere shady overnight. The Isle of Palms is such a wonderful place to be in the fall. I definitely recommend this inn.

Off-Season perfection
Prices are reasonable with a varied and plentiful continental breakfast. Parking is free this time of year. There's moderate action around, but enough to do and have quiet nights as well. Beautiful location on the beach, wonderful friendly staff. Housekeeping tip: get longer handles for those vacuum cleaners...other than that: Great stay! It's very accessible to Charleston (isn't that why you're there?). The new IOP connector can get you to outer cities and regions quickly. There are good restaurants locally and on Sullivan's Island next door. For those complaining about the bugs: Palmetto bugs are prevalent throughout the south...fear not for they fear you more. If you have to eradicate them, tip!: use hairspray to "freeze" them. Then dispose.

Weekend Vacation
I should have known that this was not going to be a good experience when the hotel did not have our reservations which were made 5 months ago. Once we got into our room, we realized it was so small you couldnt breath in it. Within 30 minutes we found 2 visitors (bugs). No pool, no ocean view. No closet. Terrible accomodations. Spent 1 night only because it was 2 am and left 1st thing the next morning. Never again will I stay there!

are you kidding me?
The room had a horrible use of space. Was way too crowded. Stunk to high heaven of mold. Was entirely too dark. I was not informed upon check-in that I would be charged for daily parking. I guess they like to give that last minute surprise. Oh yeah, the on-line photo showed a decent pool. BUT NO...... it was actually about twice the size of my tub at home. Seriously??????
