Quality Inn & Suites

Clean, comfortable, good location, good price, nice rocking chairs, quiet setting.

Everytime I go to Hilton Head for work, I always stay at this motel. When you need to keep your travel expenses to a minimum, it's hard to find a better place for the money on the island. Clean rooms and good service, I recommend this motel.

When we had to change the sheets ourselves due to poor housekeeping, we moved the bed. When we moved the bed, there was black mold growing behind both beds. Ugh! [...] Also, there was a theft whereby a car window was broken in the middle of the day and someone's purse stolen. This hotel was absolutely not what was expected.

The front desk staff is very personable and knowledgeable of the area. The housekeeping staff was pleasant and accomodating. The price and location are great. However, there needs to be a little better monitoring of the pool. There was a couple drinking beer while swimming in the pool.

Go to the Beach, Shop, Stairs dirty, breakfast not good, The trip was fine, the hotel was not good.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. The room was ... Bad. Simple things could really improve this place. The bottom of the lamp shade was ripped and hanging. There was a grey oily looking print on my pillow case. It looked like someone slept on it and it was never washed. Luckily I brought my own pillow. The walls needed a good scrub down. I'm not even sure what that stuff was on the walls. There was rust all over the safe and luggage rack. It had a moldy looking line along the edge of door by the hinges. I had to go to home goods next door and buy a blanket and wrap myself up like a burrito because I was afraid of catching a disease. But... It was cheap and convenient enough. I will not go back.

Visited with family who were also on the island. Walked on the beach and rode bicycles.

I spent two nights at the Quality Inn. When I returned to the room the second night, housekeeping had not been in at all. That didn't bother me as much as the fact that when I called to tell the desk, they insisted that I must have put out my Do Not Disturb Sign (which I had not). It would have been more politic simply to apologize. The rooms are very brown and dark, which seems odd in an environment as tropical and light as Hilton Head. Well located however, at least for my work.

We were there for my son's graduation from Parris Island. The web site [...] says this hotel was only 8 miles away from there. It was not. It was approx. 20 miles from there. The only reason I picked this hotel was that it said it was so close.

I stayed in Hilton Head while on a trip to see my son graduate from Marine Corp boot camp on Parris Island. It was @ 45 minutes from the hotel to the base with good roads. My room was average at best but comfortable. Room could have used some new carpet as there were several bare spots. I got my room for $41.99 and was well worth the money. Biggest complaint or problem is the sign for hotel entrance was very obstructed and so was the road sign. I drove by the hotel the first time and went @ 3 miles. Bonus is there is an Applebees attached to the hotel and you get a 10% discount on your bill.
