The staff was very helpful and courteous- down to earth yet professional. I was impressed. My room was clean and well appointed. I looked out at the lagoon. Very nice. The weak point was the coffee; not nearly strong enough!

Players Club
The hotel was great;furthermore, the pool and fitness center was refreshing and very friendly. The oourts were beautiful and easy to use. Beach is within walking distance!

Great Hotel in HHI!
This is our third time to Hilton Head, and our second time staying at The Players Club. As always, the staff was very friendly, and the rooms were very clean. Unlike other hotels I've stayed at, The Players Club actually tested the water in the pool, and treated it several times while we were there. It was closed a couple of times, but I'd rather it be closed to be cleaned, than to have you-know-what in the water. The sheets, all the towels, etc. were clean with no stains and high quality. We will return, see you next year!

Short drive from hotel
If you're a first time visitor to Hilton Head Island, you owe it to yourself to visit the Salty Dog Cafe located at Sea Pines...the entrance to Sea Pines is just down the road from The Players Club. The Salty Dog Cafe has quite a few restaurants(seafood, pizza, ice cream, tavern, pubs, bbq, etc) and is a great place to relax. We always dedicate one day to visit the Salty Dog area.

After reading about this hotel from other sites, I must admit that I had my guard up when I first arrived but after seeing the location and the condition of the hotel I was very surprised that I got it for the price that I did. The area is well kept and the staff was friendly. It's within walking distance of the beach and shopping. I was very please with my stay.

Great location & price for a good room
The Players Club Hotel & Resort is a low cost option for staying on Hilton Head. This was by far the best deal I could find for a hotel room. Being on the south end of the island put us close to the main beach on the island (South Forest Beach) and the bars/restaurants were within walking distance or a short cab ride. The pool was too full of kids for my taste, but I don't go to the beach for the pool. There is no onsite restaurant, but being within walking distance to a number of restuarants (Wild Wings & Coligny Plaza) overcame that.

Wild Wing Cafe is, at most, a 5 minute walk away. They have the best flavors for wings. Try the thai, ginger, and ranch wings. There's a big bar to sit around or tables. And there's usually some sort of entertainment each night.

Staff was great, but we saw other guests teasing the wild life which was concerning. Stayed six days and didn't get to many amenities. The room was super clean as requested. Had no elevator to the second floor. Large room for price and area. The staff was extremely acomadating to our needs, especially the cleaning staff who came at odd hours to accomodate us.
