Nice place

Extremely nice setting with an impressive European look to it. The room was nice and cozy, but the bathroom was a let down. For its size and the "romance" this Inn presents, why don't all the rooms have a large bathtub? Had the A/C set to 72 and was awakened at 6am due to the rooms temperature of 80, I guess the unit outside had frozen up, but c'mon. Breakfast in the morning was a full offering, not continental. Overall the Main Street Inn had a great atmosphere, but would not stay in their basic room if we ever stay there again.

A Great Get-Away!

We were so excited when we arrived at The Main Street Inn! The grounds were beautiful, inviting and peaceful. The room was beautifully furnished and had all the extras to make our stay memoriable. Breakfast was delicious. The friendly staff went the extra mile to make sure that all of our needs were met. We will definitely stay and The Main Street Inn when we visit again!

Great ambiance

We were very pleased with this hotel. The room and bathroom were larger than usual, with more of a home-y feel than you'd expect from a hotel. We had a very quiet third floor room overlooking the lovely courtyard ( I think all rooms do) with fountains and pool. Not on the beach, which is fine as we are not beach people, but steps away from a small shopping/casual dining area which also has a grocery store (small refrigerator in room). A few miles drive to see any other plantations, sites or fine dining on HHI, but would definitely stay here again, and recommend it for non beach, quiet adults.
