Terrible
The hotel was under complete renovation and no one was told before registering. One floor was complete and there were many issues and no services for anything.

expensive hotel with minimal amenities
It was a nice hotel but the layout is horrible the oceanfront rooms do not have a real balcony, you are only able to stand on the 2 ft wide " landing" ... Very awkward and not expected for a $200 oceanfront room. Good staff but not worth the money!

Mini vaca at Holiday Inn Oceanfront
Honestly, there was nothing I can complain about. the room was all we needed, and the location couldn't get much better. There were a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The pool was refreshing, the ocean right there, a fun tiki bar, and good food at the hotel restaurant. The breakfast buffet was fabulous and all of the staff we met were very professional and attentative. I would definitely go back again.

Getting reacquainted with spouse
Upon checking in, we went to our room and heard dogs barking nonstop. Dogs were next door, across the hall, and down from us. We went to the front desk and since they had already had complaints, they moved us to another floor. The second room was cleaner and did not have the musty smell as the first room did. The hotel has great amenities and is located right on the beach. You are within walking distance to many nice restaurants and shops. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful but the interior of the hotel is lacking. The breakfast is expensive and is not worth the money.

Some of the local restaurants are a little more expensive but the environment and settings of the restaurant are worth the price.

I chose this hotel because it is right on the beach but there is nothing additional inculded to make it extra special. It is close to some places to eat. I didn't like that they charge the guest to park at the hotel and it smelled a little but for what we wanted it was fine.

Wild wings is right down the street and it was a good atmosphere and they had a band that came in late evening which is good for the single folks but we had to get back to the hotel with the little one.

Excelent location
The hotel is located in an excellent location overlooking the sea. The only bad thing is the smells in the rooms, lifts and stairs of fire. They should ventilate them better.

Good stay
Overal good experience. This motel has 5 floors and only 5 rooms on each floor that are ocean front. We had an ocean view that you coud barely see the ocean from the window, no balcony. $189 per night plus $9.95 per day resort fee was a bit pricey.

Perfect location
The hotel itself is pretty average but clean. With the exception of the poolside restrooms. On our first day they were very smelly however on the second day I saw staff on three occasions cleaning. I guess somebody must have complain about this but came the third day and we were back to smelly restrooms. The definite plus is the location right on a great beach and we could walk to shop and eat out.
