The Americas Best Value Inn of Florence is located just off of Interstate 95 at exit 169/TV road. Not the best value

Good points: 1. Convenient to I-95 Bad Points: 1. The magnetic stripe keys did not work in the locks. 2. The exterior of the buildings and walkways were badly in need of paint. 3. The bathroom sink had unlimited hot water but the shower started at luke warm and rapidly went to cold. 4. Diesel trucks running all night Recommendations: Keep driving.

The run down Inn

We checked in after midnight, with guaranteed (already paid for) room. It was SUPPOSED to be first floor NON smoking. I guess they figured since it was so late, we weren't coming, so they gave out out room to someone else. We ended up with a smelly smoking room. The second night they got us a non smoking room, but it was pool side. There were some shady looking characters knocking at others doors, real late at night.

Rent a tent, but don't stay here!

This place was terrible. The staff was nasty and I left to stay at a near by motel. There were hookers in the parking lot and the noise was outrageous.

Not as expected

Americas Best Value Inn room rates were very good, in fact, cheap compare to others. However, the toilet was not working right. The bathroom looked very dirty and old. The carpet also looked dirty. The window drapes were coming apart. The water was extremely hot, someone could have gotten burnt. I had to turn the water all the way to the cold side for warm water. But if you're looking for a cheap place to stay overnight and leave in the morning, this is the place.

You get what you pay for

One of our rooms was old & run down, but seemed clean, however the other room was dirty and gross. We found dead bugs. They have a restaurant on premises but after seeing the room conditions, we opted to go elsewhere.
