THe hotel needs a overhaul. They charge upwards of $90 on a NASCAR Weekend. They need to put that back into the hotel! THe place is a DUMP

Easy to get to
The hotel was easy to find. The pool was clean and big. There was even a little kiddie pool and a swing set.

The Worst Ever!
DO NOT STAY HERE! Very dirty, unsanitary, and not safe. We were greeted with the strong smell of urine upon entering the room. Only ONE light had a functional light bulb. Hair and bugs were in the tub. The toilet was stained and mold and dirt was most everywhere. The valet area was falling of the wall and the old wall paper was badly stained and crudely patched. My husband and I stayed for about 9 hours to get some sleep off the interstate on our way home from FL heading north to Mass. We were tempted by the low rates - but it wasn't worth it. I never would have stayed without him there for moral support and safety. I did not choose to shower or walk without shoes on. Deodorant spray masked some of the odor. We were careful not to touch the covers and with some trepidation, did use the sheets. We got a few restless hours of sleep between noise from other rooms and dreams of being bitten by bugs. Leaving in the morning, we noticed housekeeping mixing clean and dirty linens on a garbage type handcart. It was disgusting and I am surprised that Motel 8 allows their name to be used at this facility. For the record, this review only skims the surface and isn't exaggerated in any way. Spend the extra 20 bucks and stay at the Hampton Inn at the same exit.
