Worst Experience

Worst experience ever. Would never return, checked out early and now dealing with getting a refund for the night not spent there. Though close to college was not worth it.

Not good experience

Heard every bit of conversation from next door through the connecting door, not good when you have excited teens up all night on school sports trip. Smell from carpet was overwhelming when we first checked-in but lessened with time. Probably not a good idea to have carpet in the wash area.

not happy

booked received a confirmation of a non smoking room. checked in and there were no non smoking rooms available. it was like sleeping in an ashtray.

Terrible staff service

The staff at this hotel was very unpleasant and not at all helpful. They were more concerned with people renting rooms and having parties. The house/trailer behind the hotel shot off fireworks all night long. The room was very nice, but the staff's negative attitude makes this a hotel I will never recommend.

Budget stay at Myrtle Beach

WE basically used the hotel as a crash pad, it was not an "experience", but was adequate for our needs. The rooms were reasonably clean, and the staff was responsive if we needed something. The breakfast also was nothing to write home about, but there was food! We would stay here again.

Not what was presented!!!!!!

This trip was for our anniversary and were expecting to have a great time together!! The hotel was alot farther out from everything then we thought and the room presented on [...]was not the type room we got....expected the huge tub next to bed and got normal bathroom. Had to request heat to be turned on and hard to play with thermostat to get it working in room.

Okay for the price

The hotel was okay for the price. It was clean. Maid service was a little slow. Room was missing a TV remote and DO Not Disturb sign. Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast wasn't much. Pool was closed. For price, would stay again.

good prices

The welcome was wonderful. Comfortable accomadations were made. The beds were excellent.Our room was clean and smelled clean.

Reasonable price but nothing to rave about

Overall experience was very positive. There was some confusion regarding personal information at check-in (the Orbitz business address was listed as my home - no big deal) and different, but better!, rate for the first night. The hotel appears older but is in relatively good shape and the staff was very helpful. Stayed two night while moving our daughter into Coastal Carolina University which was five minutes away so very convenient for that purpose. Also about 20 minutes from Myrtle Beach depending on the traffic on 501.

Fatz Cafe is a very nice family style restaurant just North of this hotel, maybe 4-5 miles on highway 501. It is the opposite direction of all of the tourist traffic and dining choices to/from Myrtle Beach and the food was great!

Would stay again.

We stayed here as it was close to where our CCU Student lives. The people were nice and the room was clean. Our first morning we didn't leave our room until after 11:00am and was quite dissapointed upon our return at 11:00pm to fine the room was never cleaned or beds made. We did call and they did immedately bring up fresh towels. It was reflected in the tip for housecleaning.

When having to travel on Route 501, allow extra time for the traffic as it gets very busy and it seems like you sit at the traffic lights forever.
