Harbison area hotel offers free breakfast and an outdoor pool
Wingate by Wyndham Columbia is located in the Harbison area of Columbia, South Carolina, and is easily accessible from I-20 and I-26. Very convenient for our travel, clean and easy access from the interstate. Even had free beer, wings and salad for happy hour. And when we left at 4AM, the coffee and breakfast were ready and free; what a pleasant surprise. And the staff are super; can't ask for better.

Enjoyable trip
The hotel is very nice and accessible. A lot of restaurants nearby and a 10 minute drive to the zoo and the state museum. I was a little disappointed with the breakfast bar in that the selection was not great, but it was reasonable. We stayed in a double room with 2 double beds, (for 4 people), but there were only 2 washcloths and 3 towels left in the room by housekeeping. The front desk staff quickly provided extras but you would expect the correct number of towels, etc. for the accomodations. Overall a very nice place to stay and the staff was very polite and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone coming to the Columbia area.

Great stay for military graduation
We wanted to check in early, they let us.The rooms were clean and spacious. When we arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon, they had a fantastic buffet set up, to include ice cold beer. Very nice. Comfortable bed, great shower, very friendly and helpful staff. An absolute bargain. 20 minutes to Fort, across from Mall, German restaurant was excellent (recommended by staff). We were there for military ceremony and this hotel made the trip really good. Highest compliments!

Super nice
I had an amazing time...the hotel is around shopping which was fun and the staff was so helpful. i had never been to SC but they made sure I had something to do and places to go. They were great!!

very good
we only stayed at wingate for one night, but we were very pleased.the room was clean ,shower was very good & the price was reasonable. the bed was also confortable . it was quiet & we got a good nights rest. the breakfast was better than most that are included in the price. no complaints . will keep wingate in mind if we are in columbia again.
