The Sleep Inn hotel is conveniently located off Interstate 20 with convenient access to Interstate 26. This Columbia hotel is minutes from the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden, the University of South Carolina, the South Carolina State Museum, the Columbiana Centre and Carolina Coliseum. The Columbia Metropolitan Airport is just 10 miles away. Enjoy our free Morning Medley breakfast each morning. Each guest room is well-appointed with microwave, refrigerator, hairdryer, iron/board, coffee maker, and free high speed internet access. Newly renovated hotel. Must be 21 years or older to rent a room.

Ok, but not what i expected

The positive- when we arrived at hotel, staff was friendly. It didnt take long to check in. The room was nice and comfortable i loved the flat screen tv. We had a little trouble with our microwave but staff replaced it. In a great location. It was just minutes away from walmart. The Negative-i found a dirty wash cloth under a chair in the room. we had to hold down the toleit handle in order for it to flush. the towel holder looked like it was about to fall out the wall if to many towels was on it. Housekeeping didnt come to clean the room at all our entire stay there. However they did ask if we needed more towels and stuff. The pillows needed some work they were not all that comfortable. I have paid less for a hotel and stayed there longer and it was alot better than this one. If you ask would i stay again i would have to say no. But overall it was ok.

Sleep Inn

For a traveler on a budget who doesn't spend much time at the hotel room this was great. I'm fairly picky but this place was fine for the night. A little small but that doesn't bother me. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

Go to downtown Columbia. It was great for dinner and for a drink afterwards.

My review of Sleep Inn Columbia

As short as my stay was, I could see that Sleep Inn Columbia needs an update. The wall paper was pealing in the room, The towel rack was broken and there was dead Livestock on the floor. It was a big disapointment and I would not reccomend the hotel to anyone. I do have pictures of the paper and the Roach on the floor. I did notify the personel at the desk when there were no other people waiting to check out.

Not Friendly

The Sleep Inn was full when I visited. The morning the free breakfast was completely unmanned and in disarray. I ended up eating breakfast elsewhere.
