Great for the price
Booked this hotel for a graduation at fort jackson. Needed something cheap but close by just for one night. This was perfect. In a great spot, right off the highway and plenty of food options close by.

Good location but thats it
I stayed here for my fiancés basic training graduation. Its a great location, like 6 minutes from base, but that's the only good thing. Luckily I was just here to sleep. It was very noisy in the halls and when I arrived to the room the desk was dirty. There wasn't any extra toliet paper and they don't even use fitted sheets. There isn't very good water pressure. Then to top it all off I killed a Roach in the room. The place is cheap especially if you're on a fixed income but wouldn't stay there again. Oh and they don't even have blow dryers.

We were attending our Son's graduation from Basic Training,the staff was very helpfull in providing info,and recommending Good places to eat.They always had Coffe brewed early in the morn to get you going!

Great Basic Motel
The stay was very enjoyable and the staff were very attentive and friendly always. We were there for the graduation at Fort Jackson. It was a very easy and short commute, would recommend to others for basic need hotel stay.

Ft Jackson Boot Camp Graduation Trip
Our stay at the Motel 6 in Columbia Sc was nice. Our room was clean and neat. The staff was very friendly. We were there to see our son graduation from boot camp at Ft Jackson. The staff gave us great directions to the base and surrounding area. There was nothing fancy, just clean, neat and quiet. We did request another set of towels and they happily abliged us. Security was good. Well lit parking area and only the main enterance is open at night. The elevator is a bit slow but a nice feature just the same. We definately would recommend this motel if you are looking for a reasonably priced, clean place to lay your head for the night.

Very reasonable and easy acess to Ft. Jackson
Everything about this hotel was excellent. Our room could have had a couple of more towels, but the staff supplied them with no questions asked. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again if we ever get back there.

Good for the price
Motel 6 Columbia East is good for the price. The room was confortable. The only problem was the cigarette smell in the room. I ask for a non smoking room but probably the person that stay before Me did not care and probably smoke in the room. That was the only problem. The hotel is pet friendly and I did't have to pay for the pet.
