Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham Columbia/Harbison Area

The air conditioner didn't work well and it was hard to flush the toilet because the handle was behind the poorly crafted counter top. We were traveling on a budget and it was ok for the night. The older gentleman who checked us in was wonderful, I checked in an hour before his shift ended but he gave me as much attention and info as if his shift just started. He even commented on the snacks that I had.....honestly his friendly spirit made the difference.

the room wasn't as bad but the pics made it look so much better.

The moment we walked in the door there was attitude from the overly paid girl at the counter. The first room we had was DISGUSTING and the recliner was stained and broken, it was shoved against the wall to hide the fact until my 5 year daughter sat in it. There were so many things broken that I had to make a list to take to the front desk when I requested a new room. The man who showed us the new room was the ONLY good and decent part of the whole hotel. I spoke to other people staying there and the only ones who had no complaint were under the age of 25 and wore drug promoting t-shirts and their pants hanging down. It was the most disgusting place!! I would rather sleep in my car then ever stay here again. Run away from this hotel as fast as you can. Even $10.00 a night is to much to pay for this service.And you must bring your own shampoo because you only get two hotel bars of soap and no maid service.

the lady at the front desk was rude and more worried about her phone call then she was helping us. The room was outdated! and there were ants everywhere in the bathroom! I wouldnt tell anyone to stay there!

It was ok. Slept lovely.

Just hung out and got to spend time with my honey. We got there and the reservation we made was for one bed and when i checked in they were out of one beds and gave us a room with 2 in it. the sink had a hole in the side of it that needed repair. the microwave you had to mess with it in order to get it to work. no coffee pot no iron\ironing board no hair dryer. When the hotel staff cleaned our room they took the dirty towels and didnt replace with clean ones and didnt refill the toilet tissue. I had to go downstiars and ask for them. In one of the drawers was a couple shirts that was left by previous renter i guess. i enjoyed my time with my honey as always we didnt let that affect our stay but it was very crazy and we will not be renting from that hotel again. ohhh the staff behind desk was nice.

The hotel was very nasty. The comforter on the bed had holes in it. I found a beer bottle under the bed. The bathroom smelled of urine, so obviously it had not been cleaned. The carpet was discolored. The walls were dirty. There was no iron in the room - no hair dryer - no bottles of shampoo. It was disgusting to say the least.

We arrived late and proceeded through the easiest check-in in the history of check-ins. However our room had an undesirable smell and the toilet did not flush. We were moved to a superior room right away, which was clean, and nice. We slept soundly and rose early to leave. Despite the first room experience, it was actually very pleasant.

I really enjoy my stay. I was there for my son's graduation at Fort Jackson and is a great stay, nice staff. I would of liked that there had a pool and my grandson would of enjoyed more, but no complaints I really liked it.

We arrived late and left early. There were no problems at all.
