Very good hotel
This is an excellent hotel in downtown Columbia. It is centrally located, near plenty of restaurants, with one of the best inside. Rooms are very clean and well apportioned. The staff was particularly helpful, and helped us to find everything we needed in the city. Well done to the front desk staff!

Thirsty Fellow on Gadsden about 10 minute walk. Great pub food, cold beer and $3 football shuttle right across the street where there is free parking.

Overall it was a good stay, the staff could have been nicer. They seemed unmotivated almost bored to be there.

Was dissappointed in food at the in-hotel restaurant. Name is well known and typically very good but the quality of the meat was poor.

Great hotel
This hotel was in a great location--close to many restaurants and downtown. We went to the Capitol Building, which was rather small. We tried to go to the Cayce museum, but it was inexplicably closed in the middle of the afternoon. There is really not much to do in Columbia, unless you are a student.
