The hotel was immaculate. Everything was perfect. It wasn't as close to the downtown area as I had hoped, but they provided a free shuttle starting at 5pm. Highly recommend this property.

COMFORTABLE
Our room was VERY roomy! We had five people in our party and never once did we feel crowded. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best thing was that they had pre-written directions for all the places we wanted to go. Not only how to get there, but how to get back. The evening shuttle to downtown was very nice!!!!! The breakfast was very fresh and delicious :)

Take the shuttle !!!!! Be sure to make reservations for the more popular restaurants. The wait without reservations can be an hour or more. Kreminksky's is great for take-out desserts.

Great location!
Great location and great amenities. The free breakfast was a plus. Also nice to have free parking. The hotel offered a shuttle to downtown Charleston every evening which we took advantage of both nights. Also only a short drive to the beach. We spend alot of time in Charleston and would definitely stay here again.

Anson restaurant in Charleston (Anson Street right off the Market)...only open for dinner...reservations recommended. VERY good food and atmosphere.

Downtown Charleston close by and the hotel offers free shuttle service there and back. GREAT WAY TO GO BECAUSE PARKING IS LIMITED DOWNTOWN!

Good location, great service.
In my opinion, this is better for a business trip instead of a couple vacation like I booked it for. The room was smaller than I'm used to, but it was very well laid out. The bed was very comfortable, the housekeeping staff nice, the front desk very helpful, breakfast was very good, and I liked being close to the marina so I could see the boats. For me, the cons: I would have liked for the refrigerator to have gotten colder (we brought food on our trip and our gel packs were not frozen for the trip home), and I would have liked more dresser space (there were a couple of shelves under the television stand and only a small space in the corner to hang some clothes and a luggage rack there as well). The pros: Loved the location. It is just past downtown Charleston, so we avoided all that traffic and were able to visit Summerville, and some of the attractions just south of Charleston. Also, the hotel offers a free shuttle to downtown Charleston from 5-11 pm. There are a couple of computers in the downstairs area, so you are able to access the Internet. The only bad thing is it is right at the double doors, so you constantly see people entering the hotel. It would have been nicer if it was separate. Overall, loved the stay, just next time I'll book it for a business trip.

Just a few miles from the hotel is a hole in the wall diner, I think the name is Ye Olde Fashioned Cafe, but I'm not sure. It's next to Papa John's, just off of Hwy 17. Great ice cream - I had banana pudding flavor.

great shuttle service from hotel to downtown. The breakfast area too small to comfortably accommodate all the tour buses. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Beautiful view
Our family only stayed for one night but, it was a great place to stay. Great view of the water and boats. Very clean and the staff was great. Enjoyed eating at California Dreamin which is within walking distance. Price was what caught our attention. To stay downtown Charleston would have been much more expensive. It was only 10 minutes away to get to the Market and all the things you enjoy doing in downtown Charleston.
