Charleston Holiday Inn Riverview
The staff was very friendly and accomodating when we checked in. No hassles and the process was quick and easy. Room was with a great view of the Ashley River, bridges and Charleston. Nice view as we stayed on the 9th floor. Almost a 180 degree view. I liked the bar and restaurant on the roof. Pretty much the same view but higher. I appreciated the work out room on the 3rd floor. They have 2 trend mills and one paddle mill. You can run or walk and watch TV too. Weight machine on the other side was nice. I would stay at this property again.

Try Jestine's and the Hominy Grill. Great southern food at reasonalble prices. for Mexican try Santi's on Meeting st.

Great getaway.
Hotel is very nice and clean, and the shuttle service to downtown is very helpful. Staff very nice and helpful. Would stay here again.

Good location, decent hotel
The location was perfect for getting in and out of the city of Charleston. The staff was informed and helpful. The room was ordinary. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable. Ultimately a good experience for the price.

Down town Charleston has fantastic restaurants, just a few miles away. Great city to visit. The beach is within 15 minutes from the hotel.

Needs some work but staff friendly
The rooms look more rennovated in pictures. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is a little difficult for entry and leaving the hotel.

Seightseeing Trip
Wanted to avoid high downtown prices. yet have a nice room. This hotel fit the bill. Location was convenient to downtown, plantations and beach. The view of the water was nice. The shuttle and free parking were good perks. Staff were friendly, room was pleasant and clean. Restaurant was ok, but nothing special.
