HVAC stopped working second day there, concierge said the maintenance person would be back the next day(we were leaving then. Had to open the window that night. Really had wished it were cooler outside that night. No more to be said.

Southern Hospitality

Would recommend Thu, Aug 7, 2014
The location here is perfect for culinary tourism, situated right in the heart of the burgeoning restaurant scene. The hotel amenities, including continental breakfast served in your room, afternoon wine & snacks, and evening sherry, were also very nice.

Dining

Try the BBQ in the market (Market St). Very good and inexpensive!

The inn is in a great location. It's close to everything. The staff was very friendly and we couldn't have asked for a better way to spend a long weekend. Shopping and many great restaurants are within blocks.

This hotel was right in the Historical District in Charelston. Was within walking distance to just about everything. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I left my sweater there and they mailed it out to me the same day I called to report it missing. Bed was super comfortable!! Would def stay there again!

Perfect downtown spot

Would recommend Thu, Jul 3, 2014
My daughter and I stayed here two nights while in town for new student orientation at College of Charleston. We parked the car when we arrived on Wednesday night and didn't move it until we left Friday evening. It was an easy and enjoyable walk to campus, to the Market, to the Waterfront, and to the shopping and restaurants downtown. The customizable continental breakfast was delicious and delivered in a timely manner each morning. The staff were courteous and helpful with all requests. The setting is, of course, absolutely lovely. We will definitely consider Fulton Lane Inn for future stays.

Shopping hint

Visit the Market around 3, stroll for an hour or so, and then beat the crowds with an early dinner around 4.

Fulton Lane Inn Pros and cons

Would not recommend Wed, Jul 10, 2013
*The resort was not easy to find since the entrance doesn't face a street. It's down an alley. *The parking situation was ridiculous. There were barely enough spaces and they were far too small. Good place to get your door dinged. *Not enough lighting in the parking lot at night. Getting in and out of car can be hazardous. *There is no lobbey in this hotel only a room with a person at a desk that serves as concierge, check in and check out, etc. *Amenities in our bedroom were lacking compared to other hotels we've stayed in. No coffee maker or microwave, no storage for towels, toilet papter, etc. *Very small TV. No DVD player. Won't go back.
