Super location

Days Inn Historic district could not have been any more centrally located. Being in the center of the historic district allowed us to walk to any number of attractions. A multitude of food & shopping options made this vacation great. Truly a great value.

Great location

I was very pleased by the Days Inn in downtown Charleston. The location of the hotel is great. Since parking in the city is difficult, being able to find a hotel that is downtown and allows one to walk to destinations is a huge plus. Parking is available and accessible, without waiting for valet to bring car around, at the hotel which is also great! The hotel was clean, the cleaning staff did a great job, and the restaurant attached to the Days Inn was delicious. The pool could use some work, but I was very pleased overall and would stay here again.

Charleston Vacation

The stay was enjoyable, the room was small but not unbarable. The noise from the construction across the street was not noticible, we stayed at the back next to the pool area there was no noise from other guests. The room was clean and very nice. Dining at the resturant on site was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the people were very helpful in our touring of Charleston. You can stay anywhere in Charleston for more money but why. The location is the best I have ever seen. The hotel staff were very helpful in all matters.

Take the carriage tours you can get better pictures than on the Grey line tours, I highly reccomend the walking Ghost Tours. Dinning in Charleston is an experiance depending on your taset. Check with the locals as to the best for the price and food selection. Don't overlook the little overlooked and less traveled places to dine and shop.

Best location, great price

These are basic accommodations but they were clean, everything in the room - lights, TV, coffeepot - worked, which isn't always the case in pricier places. The staff was good. We were in the center of the historic district, perfect for restaurants and sights. We had zero need for a car, a big plus in Charleston.

Delightful! Perfect experience!

Within 5-10 minutes walk from nearly all of South Charleston, French Quarter, Waterfront, etc. Comfortable, clean room, friendly staff, great local restaurants, any brief stroll became a walking tour of the best sights in Charleston. 20 minute drive to Folly Beach, one block from The Market. Overall a simply delightful experience. The hotel was not the focus of our vacation, but did an excellent job of filling in the spaces in between our excursions. Least expensive in the area, too!

Money-saving tip: Long walk from hotel

Wander around the French Quarter, down the side streets. Better than a guided tour. Lots of lovely architecture and grottos and gardens.
