Very nice stay plus location, location

Great staff, clean, comfortable room, tasty continental breakfast for free. Plus the location is fantastic: right in middle of historic district with hundreds of museums, art galleries, restaurants and curiosity shops within easy walking distance. Don't bother with a car. C-town is a great walking town and The Pinckney is a super home base.

Location, location, location

The ltocation of this Inn is excellent. Close to a number of excellent restaurants and shopping. Easy walking distance to a numberio of historical homes. The hotel staff was very helpful and they maintain a nice restaurant menu book. Their continental breakfast is more than adequate. The room was tastefully decorated, like the crown molding and plantation shutters. 24$ taxi to airport.

A wonderful getaway

The Andrew Pinckney Inn was a very enjoyable experience. The staff was very friendly and would personally come to your room if you had any problems. Coffee and hot tea and cookies were always available in the cozy check in area. The complimentry breakfast on the rooftop was a great way to start the day. Warm coffee, juice, and delicious breads were available with friendly helpful staff available for any additional needs. The inn was a perfect location! It was very close to great resturants, incredible shopping, and sites to plan tours of Charleston. I did not want to leave! I will return to this hotel the next time I plan to come to charleston!

City Market is just a few blocks with just little trinkets and other things. Along the side streets there are wonderful decorative stores for the home and great inexpensive silver jewerly stores (Carolina Charms!)

Very nice Historic Hotel, beautifully renovated.

This hotel was very appropriately restored to its period. The rooms were spacious & comfortable. The staff was wonderful & there were fresh cookies waiting in the lobby at check in. The breakfast was nice as well, the view from the room & the roof top, where breakfast is served was great. This hotel was also very close to the Historical District of Charleston & the open air market as well as restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere. We will absolutely return to stay in the Andrew Pickney Inn.

Charming for vacationers

The Andrew Pinckney Inn was a bit difficult to find and parking was extremely limited, but once in my room, quite pleased with being upgraded to a two-story suite. Very spacious, nice large bath tub for two in the bedroom, however, electrical outlet pulled out of the bathroom wall--rather unsafe--and door lock didn't work. Breakfast included was disappointing. No coffee cups for the last hour of the breakfast service, so a bit frustrating. Great location to city's flea market and some restaurants nearby. As a business traveler, limited Internet service for my wi-fi and business center was lacking in quality equipment and print capability.

Great place for relaxing!!!!!

The Andrew Pinckney Inn is a great place to stay. The staff extremely friendly and acommodating. The room was nice. I would recommend them paying more attention to top bed linen. There were spots on decorative pillow cases. Spots on fabric chairs. The room smelled old. I had to purchase room deordorizer. Hotel was very close to shopping, dining, and the Harbor. The streets the Inn is on are was very quiet and very clean. Any time of the day, there was several beverages in the check-in area for the guest. Great staff!!!

The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but there are many located in walking distance. The Harbor is a few blocks away. Many historic places to visit within walking distance. And there is a sense of security. The people are very helpful and friendly. Transportation is easy. I enjoyed riding the trolley.

Room Size

The room my wife and I stayed in at the Andrew Pinckney Inn was attractive and the bed was comfortable but there was no place to sit, read or use our personal computer, other than on the bed. The bathroom was quite small with very little counter space to place our toiletries and there was very little room to move about. The location was very good.

I had a great time at The Andrew Pickney. It was a great location close to all the places that I wanted to see. The view was great especially the roof top restaurant. I took my boyfriend and we enjoyed ourselves and were looking forward to coming back.
