The Beaufort Inn set in a small Southern town of only 11,000 population and founded in 1712, located on the inter-coastal waterway, boasting an acclaimed residential, commercial and waterfront restoration and surrounded by resort or retirement island communities such as Fripp, Spring Island, Dataw and even Hilton Head is a gem to be savored. - Truly a walk back in time. The hotel amenities are: Ballroom, banquet facilities, bar, concierge, conference facilities, dry-cleaning, gift shop, Internet access-high speed, Internet access-wireless, library, lobby, non-smoking rooms, reception, restaurant, room service, safe deposit box, smoke-free hotel. Deluxe Cottage Rooms
Our deluxe cottage room includes a king bed with classically simply European bedding. These rooms are located upstairs in the cottage and have high ceilings, fireplaces, porches, and whirlpool tubs. All rooms in the Rhett House Inn have cable television, wireless internet access, compact disc players, and private bathrooms equipped with hair dryers and robes. All of the room rates include a full Southern breakfast, afternoon tea, and pastries, evening hors d'oeuvres, nightly homemade desserts and unlimited use of our bicycles, beach chairs, and beach towels.

RHETT HOUSE

Travelers must understand that this is a classic "southern charm" experience, much like a bed and breakfast inn.If you like historic buildings and friendly staffs, you will love this place. The rooms are large and the bed was very comfortable. The tasty, cooked to order breakfast was outstanding and the desserts at night were succulent. It is a little noisey in the morning. One is treated like family here and I'll visit again!

The Rhett House Inn- Beaufort BEAUTIFU!L

Wow..the middle of a 3 city southern trip.. Charleston, Beaufort and Savannah. Art Galleries, carriage rides, restaurants short walk to Bay street... wonderful food, This was our favorite Inn! Staff is unbelievable...Maurice takes care of you! The wine and cheese in the afternoons and the breakfast is delicous...Must try the grits...best ever!! Sitting on those verandas was a highlight! You'll feel spoiled! Better than my expectations...and I research everything!!

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Dont miss Hunting Beach a short drive away..The state park and maritime forrest there is like nothing I have ever seen! Georgeous!

Nice, relaxing getaway

Located in pretty historic town near waterfront. Nice ammenities--good food provided!!!
