Nice accommodations!
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, even dipping out some popcorn for me during my visit. The room was clean and fresh with all of the appropriate necessities. There were more cable television channels than normal and the Internet access was free! Everything I need and more!

Great Hotel
We were in town for a graduation at Parris Island. This hotel was great. Beds were huge and comfortable. Even sofa bed was good. Indoor pool was warm and clean, which was good since it was 40 degrees outside. They offer free popcorn and sweet tea in the lobby every afternoon. There was a full service restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast special was worth the price. There are other dining options with in walking distance, including subs, mexican restaurant and a steakhouse.

Bad Advertising!!
I booked this hotel because of the advertisement of a 2 room 2 queen bed suite. When I arrived I expected 2 rooms with maybe a queen bed in each room. Instead I entered the room and saw a couch and a TV. This by the way is one of the 2 rooms, to my surprise. The other room was past the bathroom and there were 2 queen beds. You can imagine my enthusiasm when I had to explain to my wife and my parents that we would be sleeping in the same room beside each other. I guess I should find myself lucky to actually have 2 separate queen beds, which is the only thing that was truthful about the advertisement. When I asked the clerk about the room, she happily informed me that I was in the right suite and the entrance was considered one of the 2 rooms. I'm surprised that they didn't advertise this suite as a 4 room suite, because there is technically a bathroom and a kitchen area in addition to the 2 rooms already described. I will probably stay at this hotel again [...].

sweet hotel
We loved the fact that the room was exactly as it appeared on the website. The Jacuzzi was really nice and the beds are super...like a cloud almost. And the dinning room has great food, wonderful breakfast. Enjoyed a great Crab filled omelet. Will stay here again when in the area. The smoke free environment is very nice to.

So-So
Employees were nice. From reading the info, I thought it would be walking distance from Bay Street but it was a bit further than I would have liked. The area brochures need to be in a more visable area instead of tucked away in a out of the way room. Not a bad place to stay depending on what reason you are there. The bar was only open from 5-10. While I'm not much of a drinker, it would have been nice to sit in the comfy chairs, have a beer and sit and appreciate the view of the marsh. Nice outside seating area too. The pool was way too small and the hot tub was connect to it. Most hot tubs I've used were in their own area for more relaxation. The pool room door was propped open most of the time which to me breached the security of the hotel.

Steamers on Lady's Island was wonderful. I had their Frogmore Stew which I loved. My sister had the steak and shrimp which was delich. Dockside in Port Royal was delicious also. Barbara Jeans on Lady's Island was a great place to eat also. Several nice looking eating places and coffee shop on Bay St.
