Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites BEAUFORT @ HIGHWAY 21

My first stay was way more comfortable. The second time however was just awful. Unclean linen (need I say more), noisy air conditioning unit next to the bed, but I did have my ear plugs...LOL. Ensured clean linen on second day of stay. Staff was nonexistent when you needed them. Toiletries, what toiletries...small tube of lotion and body wash was all there was. No staff member available to inquire about a shower cap for wifey. Too late to go back into the streets. Next day breakfast with mother, father and sister in-law with two kids. The breakfast was good, but the charges were much higher than the advertised cost. The wait was not bad. Finally, I reviewed the bill and handed the waitress my credit card for payment, however, upon her return , I noticed additional charges were added to my bill. She tried to explain that extra pancakes were not initially added, and the gratuity of 20% was included in the bill. I said a quick prayer and paid bill reluctantly…trying not to let anyone spoil my day. I left with the thought of a major corporation such as Holiday Inn would offer such low rated customer service and attempt to penny pinch from the customers.

For the price, the double queen was quite a value. Very clean; lovely view of the marsh; convenient location. The decor was superb!

The hotel was 100 % booked for the weekend yet the staff did a great job keeping up with the many demands. The food at the restaurant was great. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Hotel staff directed us to wonderful points of interest. We had a great time and look forward to a return visit.

The hotel was very nice. The room was very comfortable and the bedding was a good night's rest. Very clean upscale hotel!

The room was great,*clean and Very spacious. Up to date appliances. Only took moments to figure out the jacuzzi. Plan to stay there again next trip.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, even dipping out some popcorn for me during my visit. The room was clean and fresh with all of the appropriate necessities. There were more cable television channels than normal and the Internet access was free! Everything I need and more!

We were in town for a graduation at Parris Island. This hotel was great. Beds were huge and comfortable. Even sofa bed was good. Indoor pool was warm and clean, which was good since it was 40 degrees outside. They offer free popcorn and sweet tea in the lobby every afternoon.There was a full service restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast special was worth the price. There are other dining options with in walking distance, including subs, mexican restaurant and a steakhouse.

I booked this hotel because of the advertisement of a 2 room 2 queen bed suite. When I arrived I expected 2 rooms with maybe a queen bed in each room. Instead I entered the room and saw a couch and a TV. This by the way is one of the 2 rooms, to my surprise. The other room was past the bathroom and there were 2 queen beds. You can imagine my enthusiasm when I had to explain to my wife and my parents that we would be sleeping in the same room beside each other. I guess I should find myself lucky to actually have 2 separate queen beds, which is the only thing that was truthful about the advertisement. When I asked the clerk about the room, she happily informed me that I was in the right suite and the entrance was considered one of the 2 rooms. I'm surprised that they didn't advertise this suite as a 4 room suite, because there is technically a bathroom and a kitchen area in addition to the 2 rooms already described. I will probably stay at this hotel again [...].

Room was very clean and neat, bed was great and a view of the marsh was beautiful at sun rise.
