Master's Stop
The hotel was clean and had a proficient staff, however the price was not reasonable given that this is not a luxury hotel. If you just need a good place to sleep, it is ok, If you are a business person, I wouldn't recommend it. This worked as a spot for the Master's.

Short stay
The staff was super friendly. It was just an overnight stay but was comfortable for the one night stay. I think it could use some dressing up as it was drab and kind of stale. Could not tell much about the pool as it was a winter trip, but glad it was closed as our assigned room was right in front of the pool. Breakfast was nothing great, just ho-hum. Coffee is located away from the food so we had to hunt around for it as it was in the hall! Thought that could be improved. The hot water thermos did not keep my hot water for my tea hot, so had to microwave it. Just not a very attentive breakfast staff, I guess. But like I said, the whole motel is okay for a short stay.

A comfortable stay
We visited Aiken to attend a ball tournament our grandson was playing in. Although the motel is older, the staff was very accommodating. Upon request, we were given a ground floor room as my husband has breathing problems and difficulty climbing stairs. The room was comfortable but should provide a fly swater several of these little critters managed to get into the room. We stayed for four days and each morning the breakfast selection was different and very good. If I could offer any suggestion, the walkways to the rooms would be much more welcoming if they were clean. A good pressure washing as often as needed and a picking up of trash around the area that inconsiderate guests toss around the bushes would make a huge difference at probably very little expense.

If you are going to be in Aiken for a few days, check out the town. Neat little shops and restaurants. We ate down town twice on our visit.

Great room
Clean, great beds, down pillows and comforter, nice breakfast: eggs, bacon, sausage in addition to cereal, etc. Nice pool. Highly recommend.

Excellent - highly recommend-
I spent two nights and was very pleasantly surprised. I have not stayed in a motel in quite some time and the staff was as nice and thoughtful (if not more so) than many luxury hotels...as an example, I was told breakfast is served from 6:00-10:00. They have a coffee station and I went down the first morning at 5:30 and she was already putting out and preparing the breakfast - she could not have been more sweet and thoughtful when I arrived, even though they weren't technically serving. She was this way for the next two that arrived early and was the exact same the next morning (early again!). The room was better than expected, clean and safe,'the free Internet access in the room was a nice surprise. The room is in need of an update, it's not bad, but should be done in the next 2-5 years.

great stay for the money
We had to be in Aiken for a few days for work. It is a great hotel (second year we been there) and nice staff, clean rooms, and great location for pets. There is a nature area behind the hotel, places to eat within walking distance and a great, quit place to stay.
