Super 8 West Greenwich/Providence

Excellent value. Nice hot showers with steady temperature. Comfortable with all the amenities needed. Ample breakfast. Courteous staff. Convenient location.

This hotel is old, but cheap. My first room had a shower that did not work - bummer. The breakfast is pretty gross, the "French toast" is sorta disgusting. Staff is friendly and nice, though. It's the cheapest hotel I could find, so what do you expect??

needed a cheap room for one night close to Warwick, Rhode Island. Room was clean and looked newly rennovated. Clerk was at desk all night. One time wake up call. what more do you want? good place to stay.

All I asked was for wifi to work. Front desk said, "I'll keep it in mind." Really?! That woman should NOT be working with customers. Also, the handles to the sink we gross! What did I expect for $44 a night? ;-)

Upon arrival the odor of stale smoke was heavy. There was an ashtray full of used cigarettes on the sill next to an open window. This was a non-smoking room/hotel (so the sign stated next to the front door). I took them to the front desk; asked the clerk if I had booked a non-smoking room and she informed me that I did reserve a non-smoking room and there was absolutely no way she could switch our room because we booked with [...]. I think her exact words were "When you book on-line you get what ever is available so that is your room". When I returned to the room my wife showed me ants crawling on the night stand. I turned down the bed covers and there were more ants in the bed along with lots of black hairs. My wife said there was no way she could sleep in that bed and went back to the front desk to see about getting another room. After some back and forth and phone calls with somebody who had to approve a room switch we got a clean, non-smoking room on the other side of the Super 8. What I don't understand is that it was a Saturday night and I bet there were only about a dozen cars in the parking lot of this place. Yet they almost went out of their way to give us a dirty room and acted like it was a real inconvenience to put us in the type of room that we ordered. Could it be because I booked it through [...] and not directly with them? I've booked rooms at other Super 8's using [...] and never had a problem like this one.. Maybe it's a Rhode Island thing?

I have to this hotel offered nothing special, I thought the checkin staff was rather rude, and the was very cold breakfast. Everything else was avarage. I would not stay there for a extended period of time it is a good one night stayover spot.
