New Years
The experience was average, there were no king rooms left so were forced to stay in a room with two doubles. No major issues

Reasonable
Room was not big but "OK". Pool, exercise room were above average. Personally do not like the beds or pillows in this chain. While only about one mile away from Downtown and the University, about half of that distance is not in a great area for walking. No close restaurants.

Great
We stayed overnight to drop of my niece to Johnson and Wales University. Fantastic staff, and just a short drive away. Will return when I visit my niece.

Enjoyable, restful, and clean!
My husband and I spent just one night at this hotel to attend a wedding in Providence. We were grateful for the free parking available and we were very pleased with the room; It was very clean (which is the most important thing to me) and the beds were very comfortable. The room was quiet with just the right amount of 'white noise' for sleeping with air conditioning. I appreciate being able to adjust the temperature in the room ourselves. There was a beautiful indoor /outdoor pool and sitting area that I wished we had time to make use of. The hot breakfast buffet is not included, but worth every penny of the $15 charge. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely stay here again.

Amazing Hotel!!!!!!

Long walk from hotel
The Marriot Downtown was indead downtown but really kinda off the beaten track. If I knew it was this far from the city I would have gladly stayed at the Marriot Court Yard which is really cenrally located.

Best for Brown graduation
We spent 3 nights here while visiting Providence to attend my son's graduation from Brown University. We coudn't have had a better location. We took advantage of the free shuttle service for both graduation events at Brown and sight-seeing in Providence. The hotel's concierge, [...], was top notch with recommemdations and coordinating the shuttle service. The hotel itself had modern clean rooms, a great outdoor pool area and a spacious lobby, making it a perfect gathering place. Will stay here next time we're in Providence.

Great family getaway
We were there for a gymnastic competition at the Twin River Casino. The hotel was excellent, family friendly. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the breakfast that was included with our hotel stay.
