Excellent Choice

Just spent the weekend in Providence with my boyfriend to see the Jeff Dunham show. And I am so glad we chose this hotel; they really make you want for nothing. The hotel was very nice and clean, and so was our room; bed was made everyday and got fresh new towels everyday and when you ask for something you don't wait a half hour like other hotels. Parking is only $21 a day and they have complementary shuttle service which was great b/c we didn't have to worry about parking or a designated driver. Shula's restaurant was awsome, best hotel food I've tasted and there's a Starbucks right downstairs. The staff is super nice and very helpful; I went to the front desk to find out what restaurants they reccomend and Nick showed me whole book full of restaurants to choose from. I thought it was great that he actually took time show me different restaurants in the area and which one's he reccomends. I definitely reccomend this hotel and I will stay here again, the next time I'm in Providence. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The only reason I gave room comfort 4 stars is b/c the pillows were mushy and I'm used to firm pillows, otherwise comfortable bed and good sleep. Thank you Hilton Providence for great stay!!

Short stay

We had a good experience at this hotel but you have to consider that we stayed only one night. If it was to go again in Providence we would choose for the same hotel.

This Hilton is a great value!

We traveled to Providence for Thanksgiving, and realy enjoyed staying at the Hilton. Loved being close to great restaurants on Federal Hill, and fantastic shopping. When you're visiting family, you need to have a refuge. The Hilton was comfortable and friendly at a great price.

nice Hilton

Staff very nice, heating/air conditioning unit cycles on and off with a loud bang, nice room, very tight parking spaces. Parking is $21/day unlimited in and out. Walking distance from major mall and multiplex cinema and several blocks of nice restaurants.

Rating Motel Stay

Would have given motel perfect rating but when I checked out Tuesday morning I had a bill slide in under my door that they charged my visa $84.00 for parking. I complained to staff manager he said could knock off $10.00 a day so that took it down to $40.00. He said they are charged $10.00 a day something about parking company is different from hotel. They also have vallet parking but I didn't use that just parked myself. I told them if they continue using this parking company they need to make people aware of this, it was noted no where that parking was $21.00 a day

clean efficient perfect

we had one day and night to experience Providence and this hotel made it possible. It was walking distance from the shops and restaurants as well as the Design museum and Brown University. The room was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower had hot water immediately. There was a good selection for breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

Portions at Andino's were too big and we weren't able to take a doggy bag obviously because we were traveling so we pretty much threw away an expensive dinner

Providence Hilton

Traveling to Providence for business. Was nicely surprised with the cleanliness and the comfortable king bed with down comforter. The room was a little warm and my best efforts with working the ac did little to cool it down. The wooden valet was broken but my suitcase made due the the window sill. Overall, I was pleased.
