The Wyndham Vacation Resorts - Long Wharf enhances travelers' vacations by taking things up a notch. The hotel provides one-, two- and three-bedroom suites for a more home-like stay. All suites have separate living and bedrooms, full kitchen, washer/dryer units and Jacuzzi tubs. The Wyndham Vacation Resorts - Long Wharf boasts an indoor heated pool that connects to an outdoor pool, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis and a poolside sauna. Great location, walk to restaurants, stores. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was great, parents had a separate bedroom and bathroom, my husband and I plus kids stayed in master. Kitchen and dining room were nice and roomy. Great spacious room overall. We stayed 2 nights, room service skipped us for no reason, we asked for late check-out and had a NO as an answer, cleaning lady was knocking on the door at 10 am sharp! Stuff was a bit cold and unprofessional. We were happy with the amenities and location, yet stuff needs better training or salaries

Perfect. Better than expected
This hotel was perfectly located for sightseeing and dining around the Marina area of Newport. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw our apartment as it was significantly bigger than expected. 4 of us stayed in a two bedroom place which was more than comfortable and sufficient room and utilities to eat in. I will definitely stay again.

Perfect Downtown Location
We arrived and were greeted by very friendly people who did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Located five minutes from the downtown area for shopping dining and nightlife. The hotel offered several suggestions if we wanted to venture out from the pools and jacuzzi. There were several grilling units for those who chose to purchase fresh seafood across the street and cook in. Our room (suite) was clean and spacious.

Location is everything
This was a girl's get away in which we enjoyed the closeness of the hotel to the shopping.We could walk to most of our destinations, except for the mansion tours. I have to say, the one disappointment was the fact that the pool & hot tub where closed during our stay. This was one of our main reasons for choosing this hotel.[...]

Excellent Location
We loved the location of this hotel. We were in walking distance to all of the downtown shops and down the road from the mansions. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We were hoping to get a view of the harbor, but we were looking out at trash cans instead. The pool area was very nice, but the pool was cold and the hot tub was luke warm. The pool has a nice slide for kids, but that was closed the whole time we were there. We went to a movie and found a 10 theater cinema center about a mile and half away in Middleton. I would stay again.

Money-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
There wasn't anywhere on site to buy food or beverages except a snack machine, and two beverage machines and one of those was broken. It cost $3 for two 12 oz. bottles of water. I would suggest driving to one of the Stop n' Shops either in town or in Middleton to stock up on water and snacks or bring some from home.

Solid Resort Stay in Newport
This place has everything we needed and wanted during our stay in Newport. We wanted a stove and kitchen area, refrigerator and freezer, multiple bathrooms. Rooms wer clean, service was great. When we needed more towels and pillows, they were delivered instantly. The location can't be better, as you are a block away from all the restaurants and shops in downtown Newport. Pools, both indoor and outdoor were large and clean. FYI for kids. In the second bedroom, which had two twin beds, there is no television. Ample parking, and elevators, carts to bring your luggage to rooms.

Poor quality
The secong bath had an useable toilet unless you peed standing up. Plus the [...] rooms are above the smoking area and the Marriot's employee parking area. If you like sleepless nights then this place id for you. If you like smelling smoke when you sleep then this place is for you. If you like bathrooms for pigmys that don't sit this place is for you.
