I would Stay Again
Staff is excellent, Hotel is older and although updated, I would say with low bid updates. It was a bit pricey for the quality but Newport is expensive.

Location is all this hotel has!
Very small rooms with full beds only, no refrigerators, bathroom has only single pedestal sink, no fan, horrible shower and it all fit in a 8x8 square. There was dust everywhere, hairs on bathroom door, went there for college graduation for the weekend for my daughter was very disappointed. Save your money other than location this hotel offers nothing.

Booked this hotel last minute ... from the car... on the mobile website. Best part of this place is location. Best shopping closeby, morning view of Marina is gorgeous, touristy food and drinks closeby. Security guard at parking lot, front desk service was mediocre (how boot a smile?), slow elevator and old furniture, tub, fixtures. I feel like the value was missing. If this was updated... sky's the limit.

Great vacation spot
We visited for two nights with two teenage kids during April school vacation week. The location is great, right in town. We walked to restaurants for every meal. With the reasonable rates, we could afford a separate room for the kids. The staff were very helpful. There is a concierge, who helped us plan visits to the mansions - more than you would expect at a moderate priced hotel. We did have a problem with the shower handle in the room, and the staff took care of it promptly. The room is smallish, but it was fine for what we needed.

Perfect location, staff was very nice, loved the pool, sauna was kind of yucky, found a dirty paper towel under the bed

Room cleaning was not satisfactory
When I walked into the room I opened the curtains and there were dirty beer bottles and a dirty glass on the windowsill. Also, when I turned down the sheets it appeared that they had not been changed because there was lint and hair all over them. The staff was there within a few minutes to fix the situation, but I was not very pleased with the condition of the room.

Cleaning service
Start by saying that I would not go back. We had there best room.Bathroom door is 24"wide and dirty behind it, same dirt both days, no fridge in the room,small desk, no table by chair, heating unit was off when we arrived, so it took awhile to warm up and it is very load, my wife had a hard time sleeping with the unit off and on all night. Second day we had to call to ask for fresh water glasses and coffee cups, when the guy brought the glasses he was holding them with his fingers inside them (disgusting)then called back again to ask for coffee for the next day, when a different guy arrived he handed me the K cups without a smile and I handed him a used coffee cup, he said what's this, I told him it was left in the room, he grabbed it and turned away, very rude. I didn't realize till the next day that I had no sugar either on my way down to check out there was another guest on his way down to get some coffee, his was not restocked either.
