Great Stay
Hotel staff was exceptional in the local attractions. Spent time answering all my questions. The hotel was stunning, and our room was amazing! I loved how we were away from the commercialized areas by and off Bellveue Ave. with all the Mansions. Would recommend!

Beautiful...quick stay, wish we had more
College graduation...not much time spent in the hotel but would love to have an opportunity to relax and enjoy the hotel itself. Perhaps, next time...worth the visit...great location.

Short stay, lasting impression
This hotel was a throw back to a bygone era. We checked in late. The Valets were fresh and eager. The front desk and staff were all very friendly and first class. We were upgraded to too beautiful suites and the beds and pull outs were so comfortable my children felt they were on a vacation. Breakfast and the waitstaff were wonderful. Highly recomend the Hotel Viking.

New Years Weekend 2010
The staff was great, but the beds were uncomfortable I could feel every movement. Plus there was a dog next door that was barking most of the night.

Fantastic getaway w/o kids!!
We where in Newport for a good friends wedding and used it as a couple getaway...we could not have asked for a better place to stay. From the moment we checked in, 6 hours early, to the second our suitcases were put into the back of my sisters car the staff was AWESOME!! The roof bar Top of Newport was wonderful. The food at in the resturant was very good...may I recommend the Guiness Brownie as a tasty sweet treat. It was one of the most expensive hotels we've ever stayed in but well worth the price.
