Weekend road trip ,
The inn was clean and well maintained with a friendly staff. Our room was clean, quiet with good amenities. The continental breakfast was slightly above average. The decor could use some updating. The price is great and not inflated. We stopped on broadway where we found a bunch of cool eclectic shops,cafe', and places to eat, right around the corner from the inn. It can be a short bike ride to the harbor or beach, or drive a few minutes.

Great hotel for the price
My husband and I had a very nice stay. The Carriage House was immaculate and within minutes to all the Newport attractions.The ONLY negative was that the one mattress needed to be replaced, a bit depleted on the one side. The continental breakfast was convenient, staff cordial and pleasant. We would consider staying there again.

Quality Motel
For an old Victorian house, the hotel was well-appointed, very clean, and, to a large degree, updated. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The maid service was excellent but not intrusive. Its location was very convenient to everything. And finally, the price was inexpensive compared to its overall value.

Weekend getaway
Staff was friendly The location is a mile from the downtown A little old feel with dull carpeting etc, but the overall experience was pleasant. Thought it was expensive for the price.

Stay at the Carriage Inn
I enjoyed the stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were pristene,and the maid service was excellent. The breakfast was adequate. I appreciated the internet access on their computer. I try to avoid carrying my laptop around. All and all I would call the stay excellent and would stay there again.

Family Vacation
Very clean, quiet and near to Newport downtown. Staff was accomodating and informative. Room was comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was more than sufficient. Overall an excellent experience - we will return!
