Its a great deal, with the best deal for the price

I travel to the Newport area a couple of times a month. I seek out a mid level hotel and this is it for the price. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the best for the price. You cannot meet a more friendly and attentive staff. Its where I will be for as long as I have work in the area.

2 day trip to newport

i read that its smells like curry. and it did. at least not the area our room was in. the owner must live on the premises. only planned on staying one night so i wasnt expecting much. they could improve on the housekeeping.

Quiet RI

Great joint. Cheap fares and friendly staff. Nifty and well trimmed rooms. Nice size for an INN.

A Good Hotel for the Price

The hotel is fine. The staff is pleasant and the room was clean. It would be hard to beat for the price. I will be staying there regularly when in the area for business. Good internet and breakfast.

had a plesant stay

Frist of all the rate was a bragain , good staff,rooms ever clean , easy from downtown like a mile.we had a good time

Rodeway middletown

CLose to where I was traveling to in the area. A lot of good places to eat within walking distance. the room was very spacious, and clean.

Enjoy Newport, RI

Staff very helpful. Location was great for seeing Newport, New Bedford, and Naval Station

A Strong Scent of Curry!!!

This was our first and last time staying at the Rodeway. Our shower head was missing, a strong smell of curry was prevalent in the place, and it quickly became clear why this hotel's rate is so reasonable.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Puerino's Italian restaurant is a short drive and located in the downtown harbor area. 8 consecutive years it was voted the best Italian restaurant in Newport. The Cliff Walk, mansions and Newport beach are also short driving distance from this hotel.

short business trip

We were on a business trip. The late night coffee was horrible, but there was a Dominoes Pizza next door. It was on a fairly busy corner with police cars(lights and siren) going by all night. The beds were uncomfortable.
