Too much for too little
Perhaps i should go easy on this review and merely acknowledge that the whole island is one big tourist trap where every hotel is twice the price it should be, and I would simply leave it at this were it not for the misleading advertising tied to this hotel. Prior to booking, while researching the hotel information, i was led to beleive that every room had wireless internet access and a jaccuzi. They do not. Not even close. Clean yes, comfy yes, tidy yes, but it is just a one or two star dive charging $200 a night (with taxes) for what should be half that.

terrible room
The room was in poor condition, with paint peeling all over the place. We enjoyed a lovely view of the dumpster and home depot(this was a whirlpool suite with a king size bed, not just an average room). The whirlpool kept turning on By itself randomly, the toilet ran all the time, the microwave turned on at random( obvious electrical issues). The showerhead isnt attached behind the wall so it sticks out and bounces around, the hot water took forever and never got really hot. Everything about this room said cheap but it was 250 per night! The staff was nice at least...even the little things were cheap...they painted the bathroom but never fixed the damage to the wall they just painted over it. They never took the door hardware off or taped it off so there are brush marks on all of the hinges...really basic stuff, tape on the remote control to hold the batteries in, old thermostat wire just cut off and hanging out of the wall....not what you expect from a place you spend 250 a night for. Thats the norm at a 69 per night place (you get what you pay for)....in this case I feel ripped off.

Not what we expected
We thought the room was drab with little light. The space was divided into small areas to accommodate a whirlpool tub & refrigeraor in a separate room from the beds. It was a very tight space to close the door in the bathroom which included tub & toilet. The cleanliness of the floors need attention. Thought the accomodations were overpriced. Expectations were not met based on advertisements. Breakfast options were good and the batter used to make the waffles was very good.

Newly rennovated??? Really????
We chose this hotel as an alternative to the less expensive hotels in the area thinking we would have an updated room and better service. This was not the case! The photographs are in no way representative of the hotel. The rooms are small, dated and dirty. The wallpaper was coming off the walls. The bathroom was filthy! The shower curtain was covered in mold! Thankfully, it was only for one night. Spend the extra cash to stay someplace else!

what you see is not what you get
First impreession down at the loby while checking in, rude unprofessional staff. As people were coming over to get more towels for room and pool they were being told there were none left and that the last person just took the LAST towel. I went to my room and it was a old closet turned into a room. I asked for non-smoking and I could have got a buzz from the nicotine imbedding in the walls and floor. I went to change my room and was told they would give me the lat one advailable, i go back up the stairs to find out that the key is not working. Then Back to the front to fix the keya dn maintaince said that lock was broken. So, another room was issued. This room was very musty and i wanted to open the window only to realize that it would be open to the construction. It was a hotel boxed in with plans of re-doing the rooms. If they are going to sell rooms they should have been up front about what was going on at the hotel. I did not want to spend the extra night there and after talking to orbits i was told that i would not be charged for the extra night and on top of that i call my creditcard and orbits and the hotel charged my card!! I had over $600 of my money tied up for the rest of my vacation!!!!

pretty shabby
location was o.k. they claimed they are pet friendly but when we arrived with 2 dogs. They were not at all welcoming we had to pay 20.00 extra per dog per night. They treated us like it is a major inconvienence and also made us sign a dog policy contract that if the dogs made noise and disturbed the other guest we would have to pay a fee. The room was very ugly I can't believe this is a 3 star hotel. Wall paper was falling of the walls and our tv remote didn't even work. There continental breakfast was from 7-9am so we missede it both days because I think part of a vacation is being able to sleep in. The staff that I checked out with was friendly but overall this place needs major renovation and in my opinion should not allow dogs unless they change there attitude.

Just Ok.
The hotel was just ok, nothing special. The rooms were pretty dumpy, and we did not get the whirlpool bathtub in our room that we were expecting. The website makes the place look a lot nicer than it really is. The lobby and pool area were very nice. Decent continential breakfast every morning.
