Courtyard by Marriott Providence Lincoln

Both the hotel and rooms very clean and pleasant. Staff friendly and attentive. Location convenient to Twin Rivers Casino, Bryant College, shopping and dining. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the northern Rhode Island area.

I made my reservation at this hotel over 2 weeks ago fora business meeting. I arrived at the hotel and the front staff was not helpful or appologetic that they gave my room away to another guest who decided to extend their stay another night. they offered to move me to holiday inn - but that was not where our meeting was and defeated the whole point of our meeting group staying at the same hotel. the front staff rolled their eyes at us and gave us the following excuses: "we can never promise you a room not matter what you book because what if the pipes burst" seriously???? A co-worker and I (who i just met 2 hours before) ended up sharing a room because we had to be at the same hotel for this corporate meeting. the front staff even told us "its normal for corporate people to share a room"- but what if we were opposite genders? I douby my spouse would be happy with that. None the less, I called the manager to report this and she was the 1st one to appologize and be empathetic of the situation. she said she would refund my stay and give me a complimentary night at Mariott hotel. Lets see if it really goes through. Over all- very disspointed with the hotel staff and their excuses of "the water pipe could break and its normal to share rooms", otherwise the hotel was ok- standard hotel.

very clean and quiet room. Beds were comfortable an d room was large enough and had a large desk area.

We went to see the Waterfire event in Providence on Aug. 28, 2010. This hotel is about 10 mins away from downtown along with very convenient highways, and there is a Lincoln Shopping Mall just right behind it. This hotel looks pretty new and great with chic interior designs. Its dining area is where I like the most. Had a great experience to stay in this hotel. ^^

There was something wrong with the water coming out of the sink faucet. Had a very unclean, dirty smell to it. Hotel was noisy late at night.

i had a problem when i check in,that the front desk did not know that i had breakfast free as special offer on my reservation.It took me ten minutes to solve the problem.

It was a clean room with friendly staff. Comfortable bed and almost no noise during the night.

The place was under construction and they only had a handicap room avaialable which wouldn't have been to bad if a) I was told and B) the bathroom was clean - I would not recommend this place at all.

We visited family in RI. Very enjoyable stay. Very helpful front desk and staff. They made you feel at home away from home.

The staff was very accomodating and professional. The hotel was immaculate! We never had a chance to use the fitness center so I cannot comment on that. The location was excellent. There was a shopping center, grocery store and a variety of restaurants nearby, all less than one quarter mile from the hotel. There was a gas station right next door to the hotel. There was also a shuttle service to the nearby casino. My only complaint is that we met guests who paid thirty dollars less a night for an equivalent room on the same night by booking directly with the hotel instead of Orbitz as we did. If you are planning a visit to Lincoln I would highly recommend this hotel!
