Extremely clean- I was impressed with the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful; Alisha was front desk and went out of her way to help us with restaurants and directions. I was thrilled with the experience of the Wingate and the cost was such a great deal. The only suggestion I have is the hotel needs a bigger sign so you can see where it is located.

Wingate is a central location; 35 minutes on a major route to Bird-in-the-Hand and intercourse PA- great Amish destinations.

GM does not have any idea about customer
Was there and we had 25 rooms for a long weekend. Had asked for an 1/2 hr later checkout for about 5 or 6 room on a Sunday. front desk girl would only say that when the GM left on Friday he said no late check outs....REALLY What about Customer Service, And to top it off ,they tried to come clean my room at 9:30am when check out was at 11:00.

Nice Family Motel
We visited family in York. The hotel was clean. The room was nice, adequate size. Bathroom - OK. The bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was what you'd expect for this type of hotel: meat, potatoes, eggs, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. There's coffee, tea, and hot chocolate 24/7. This hotel is located on a major street, close to West Manchester mall and numerous restaurants. Overall this hotel is adequate and we would stay here again.

Lancaster county attractions: American Music Theater, Dutch Wonderland, many others are approx. 25-30 minutes east of hotel. And don't miss the farmers markets in York.

Unbeatable location for the price
Hotel has easy access to Rt. 30 and I83. Great place to stay while visiting family, amish country, local winerys.

very clean, no musty odors
Hotel was great! [...] They tried to give me one king with a hide-a-bed instead of two queens, and they wanted $40 more.

New Hotel
I normally stay at Hampton Inn because I like the rooms and the breakfast. However, on this trip there was not one located near my destination so I opted for the Wingate. The hotel is clearly brand new, and the rooms are very spacious and clean. The beds are also very comfortable. The hotel is just a little difficult to find because it is so new - the address isn't correct in most GPSs.

great place to stay
Hotel was 99% quieter than the place I stayed last year--No traffic noise and little to no other noise during the night,making for a great night's sleep. Continental breakfast was hot and not the same old stuff every day.
