Very nice motel!
We had a pleasant one-night stay here. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable, shower was huge, breakfast was very good, with a variety of choices. We had some food items with us, so the fridge was handy. Noticed there was a well-stocked "food" bar adjacent to the office, if you needed a light snack.

Comfortable, convenient and friendly
We couldn't have been more pleased with the hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable. There was a refrigerator and microwave hidden in the cabinetry. The shower was the largest we have ever seen. The complimentary breakfast included waffles, sausage, eggs, fresh fruit and much more. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

If you are going to the Meadows Casino stop at the Tanger Outlet food court and get a card for some free slot play from the visitor info booth.

Attrative, super clean, huge shower!
We were in town to see Wilie Nelson and do a little gambling at the Meadows. Normally when I stay in a hotel I feel the need to sanitize the bathroom and usually spray the bedding and/or curtains and room with Febreeze as soon as I get there. I didn't even unpack the stuff this time the place was so clean! Nice staff, comfy beds, and huge shower. I will be a repeat customer if I am ever back that way again.

The Meadow's Racetrack and Casino is just a short distance away (about a mile)& their restaurant,. Bistecca's has a Filet Oscar that was delicious and the staff was wonderful. The casino was lots of fun and clean and was large/roomy eough that even the smoking was not overly annoying.

Exceptional place to stay for extended period of time
The Holiday Inn in Wilkes-Barre (Arena) is a very quite and suitable surroundings for your stay. The room is very spacious, and has all the amennities suitable for your stay. I really liked the fact that you didnt have to walk down the hallway and listen to other people talk and fighting with one another. It was also nice that you could open up your door and walk to the pool. Their was a terrific breakfast waiting for you every morning, and you even got a newspaper delivered to your door. So you could get your paper and go to breakfast. Everything was in walking distance from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Wilkes-Barre town.

There is so many places to shop it was a very hard decision to make. I would say hit all of the malls and stores.
